NFS Most Wanted: A Criterion Game

NFS Hot Pursuit 2010

The first Two Worlds on the 360.  Critics and consumers alike hated that game, but I thought it was excellent.  I didn't care too much for the second one, even though that one actually has decent reviews.

Grand Theft Auto IV. It's one of the most hated critically acclaimed games ever, though a lot of that hate stems from expectations of it being a San Andreas 2.drinkerofjuice

Transformers: War for Cybertron

Prototype, Dragon Age 2, Crysis 2 and currently Dead Space 3.

These games all have their issues but are nowhere near as bad as....

Ok, Dragon Age 2 is a bit of a mess, but I really liked the characters and most of the story.

Sonic Unleashed. 

I'm not sure I truly liked it but I definitely wasn't hating it as much as everyone else. At least it was more or less a competantly made game, which is far more than anyone can say about sonic '06. I liked the day stages and I didn't think the night stages were the worst thing ever, even though their existence made no sense. I had some fun with it in spite of it's major flaws and uneven gameplay.

More fun than I even had with games like Skyward Sword, Eternal Sonata, Fable 2, or Red Dead Redemption. Objectively speaking those were certainly better games, but they all pissed me off or bored me to tears in one way or another. Unleashed wasn't good but I wasn't annoyed with it, I felt it was a relatively harmless game and had some good gameplay mixed with very mediocre gameplay.

#1 - Alpha Protocol - Loved this game, was not expecting much from it but I had a blast, good characters, interesting story, tough decisions, good dialogue and it was fun as hell to me.

#2 - Too Human - Another game I had a ton of fun on. Get a friend to play this with you in coop and its a blast. There is some bugs and its got a very big difficulty spike at times but its a very fun game.

#3 - Lost Odyssey - The best JRPG of this gen, just loved this game.

#4 - ARMA2/Operation Arrowhead - Thousands of user made mods/missions, DayZ and one of the best sandbox editors around. Sure its got a very steep learnign curve and its not optimized the best (Its over 250km big though what do you expect?) but its fun as hell to me as a fan of realistic military shooters. I enjoy taking my time and lining up a shot from super far away in this game, good times.

#5 - Heavy Rain - This one seemed to be splut down the middle, for me I thought it was tons of fun and still till this day, hands down my favorite ps3 exclusive game out. Atmopshere, characters and story was good, not to mention all the different ways things could play out and the different endings.

Other Notables = Shadowrun (Had so much fun on this) and Risen1/2 (Two rpgs I enjoyed more then 90% of whats out there this gen)

I enjoyed TFU. There's probably more, but nothings coming to mind.

Metroid Prime 3 (felt too slow at times, and motion control mechanics got annoying at times since im too lazy to keep my arms held up)

Elder Scrolls (oblivion and to a lesser extent skyrim)

Ghost Recon Future Soldier

I just started playing Crysis 2 right now and it is soooo much better than the first game so far. I dont remember it being this good.

The only game I have played that I would think people "didn't like" (not hate, since everyone seems to like a little of everything) was the Skate series. Absolutely fantastic skateboarding games that totally shamed THPS.Zeviander

I love Skate, but it killled itsef in about a fourth of the time it took Tony hawk to kill itself.
