What are the Games you got excited about when they were announced but since then you've lost all hype you had for it?

This is Vegas. It was announced forever ago and looked like fun and somewhat complete, but it never came out and I haven't heard of it since 2008.

mgs4, heavy rain, gow of war 3, uncharted 2, imfamous,kz2,rfom 1-2, rachet and clank, heavenly sword, lair, haze,to name a few .....

some semmed great and some even scored great. but all are well forgotten.

Dead Island, what ever happened to it?

I'm gonna say Eight Days and Redwood Falls.

Eight Days WAS cancelled, but I think it may be on hold now.

Redwood Falls was cancelled, but as someone pointed out the couple video clips edited in to the various Playstation Move videos look VERY similar to what would've been RF.

Also, I'm still waiting on Dead Nation, dammit!

EDIT: I too wondered what was taking them so long on Singularity. I remember reading the cover story in GI on it almost 2 years ago.

I would have to say The Wall, a game announced back around 2006 and now has drifted off into the cosmos, so to speak. Don't know if it is delayed or simply vaporware, or even...cancelled.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 is the only one that really matters. And I guess Faith and a .45 but that's cancelled.

I'm saying Cosmic Walker we haven't seen anything since it was announced the same time Sin & Punishment 2, Punch Out, and Span Smasher was announced (Punch Out was released, Sin & Punishment 2 is releasing soon, and Span Smasher is getting released in the Summer.) But we haven't seen anything about Cosmic Walker and it looked interesting.
