Games that you hate but everybody else love and Vice Versa

Okay i personaly don't like

Gran Trusimo (to real just to real and not fun raceing)

And For games i like but nobody else likes are

Madden (really they make enough changes for me to buy and new game year after year)

Ratchet Deadlocked (well no body really hated this game but most people said this is the worst ratchet game ever and why is it that a series cause it is to much combat and not enough platfroming and theres not enough platfroming while i liked the new style and why can a series like RE can change it's roots and everybody loves the new style and ratchet changes it's roots and no body likes it) 

Oblivion, I am into japanese rpgs

In my opinion, the greatest game ever created is Final Fantasy 7, followed by Chrono Trigger and Halo

I don't really like it either. Found it kind of boring really.  

I hate FFXII.  It was a big disappointment for me.  While I don't hate it, I don't see why people think Halo is the best FPS ever.  It's fun, but really, it isn't as good as they make it out to be.

 Everybody seems to hate Ninety-Nine Nights, but I really enjoyed it.

The Legend of Zelda.  I don't necessarily hate the franchise, but I definitely find it drastically overhyped by the gaming media, industry, and consumer base.  I'm at least able to acknowledge what it does well, but there's only so much excitement for me going across Hyrule to save Zelda and defeat Ganon over and over again.  I can't hate on Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker, though; those were incredibly good games.

god of war. kratos isnt a bad ass at all. i hate the story of this game. i think kratos is a little b***h. the gameplay was bleh. i was so hyped when i bought it cause i heard so many great things about it but i was so dissapointed. the minotaur was corny, so was the hydra, the temple on that dudes back was also garbage. i really did not have fun with that game, as much as i thought i would. i believe the overdone hype on that game killed it for me. as for games i like but others hate or whatever madden- i love football, i want nfl licensed teams, madden is a good football game.jg4xchamp

Huge FF fan but this game was complete trash, one of the worst RPG's i've ever played... and i've played some horible rpg's

I can see where you're coming from.  Though I don't necessarily share the same perspective, I can see why you think that.  There are parts that make you roll your eyes a little bit, such as Kratos' over-the-top rebellious rage and how his voice actor really overcooks his lines and the gameplay can turn button-masher at times, but the hype comes more from the shock of the sense of scale, that you are toppling a God and the cinematic approach is epic at times.

Haha, actually in the above deleted post I was going to defend you, but I accidentally clicked "delete" when I meant to hit "edit." :P  In it, I said I understood where you were coming from.  There are parts of God of War where things get to be a button-masher and Kratos' voice actor can be a bit over-the-top archetype of a "won't take slack from anyone" kind of guy, but I definitely appreciate the series for the absolutely epic puzzle in Pandora's Temple in God of War and the sheer inventiveness in God of War 2 (both in puzzles and in incorporating elements from Greek mythology).  But I'm completely fine with you not liking it.

Games I hate that everybody loves = GTA, Halo and Nintendo's token franchises

Games I love that everybody hates = Mostly DBZ, Star Wars and Matrix games.

Never got into 11, was into SWG. master bounty hunter killing jedi before they made it a profession from the beginning :).

Waited forever for X, waited in line for a ps2 just to make sure I had one to play it. Got the game played it all the way through. Didn't enjoy one single second of it. Hoped it would get better but man was I let down

Final Fantasy X - terrible. Hated the characters, hated the storyline, hated the entire universe it sought to create. My convictions were only further strengthened by the atrocity that was FFX-2.

Kingdom Hearts 2 - terrible. The first one was an average, if not somewhat derivitive, RPG with a simplistic yet enjoyable combat scheme. The second one failed to innovate, offerin the same clunky combat, overused plot devices, and ill-developed characters. If only you were in "drive" mode perpetually, then perhaps there would have been at least some merit to this game.

Metal Gear Solid 3 - huge letdown, especially since I loved MGS2. The lack of characterization of the individual bosses was a stark departure from MGS and MGS2's examples. I disliked how the game incentivized run-and-gun shooting and the system of eating/bandaging felt tacked-on, poorly implemented, and overly tedious. While graphically amazing, I also found the setting of the story - and the concept behind it - rather contrived. I also disliked how it redefined what the Patriot's were, departing from the interesting "meme" take of MGS2. 

Halo 2 - huge letdown. Poor weapon balance, little to no innovation, and weak development of the story. This felt like Halo 1.5 at best in my opinion, and even the multiplayer quickly degenerated into a chore. A shame since I loved the first Halo and felt it the pinnacle of console FPS (albeit somewhat slow-paced both gameplay and storywise).

Oblivion - much promise but numerous and unignorable flaws would make me give this game an 8/10 at most.

LoZ: Majora's Mask -  ne my favorite games ever, but for some reason (despite relatively high review scores) I tend to come across many people who dislike it. I thought MM was far and away superior to Ocarina and one of, if not the, best games in the entire franchise.

Final Fantasy IX - perhaps my favorite Final Fantasy along with VII (although VII has been subsequently destroyed through Square-Enix milkage sadly). I thought character design was inspired, the storyline was superb, and the overall quality of the title to be leagues above its predecessor (VIII, which I aborred). Perhaps because I enjoyed this game so much I was unable to enjoy FFX, which I feel pales severely in comparison to IX.

Thanks, you just reminded me of how much I hated Kingdom Hearts 1.  Your description of the second game fits the first perfectly.
