Agreed. I've had it for two years now and it's well worth the investment.

Sleeping Dogs, Demon's Souls, X-Com: Enemy Unknown, Spec Ops: The Line, etc. out of several dozen other free games were well worth it.

I don't have Crackdown, so far it's basically Crackdown and Fable 3 that are of any use to me.

I literally just got DR2: Off the Record last month and am a bit into it. So that one is of no use to me, but otherwise that would be a pretty good freebie as well.

I won't knock MS for giving out free games, but it's a huge disparity between the quality of games MS is giving out vs. the quality of PSN+. I still have to finish XCOM, Sleeping Dogs and a bunch of others from PSN+. Many of the games PSN+ has provided are relatively recent and still have retail value, and in some cases they give you arcade games day one on their release date. Crackdown is ANCIENT, and it's like $1.99 street value for a retail copy, so the fact they are "giving" it to me doesn't really mean anything.

Still not a single game i dont already own.

This is getting pretty depressing, either its just terrible luck or i own waaaaay too many games. Although it will be nice to finally play DR2 with friends.

Anyone who hasn't played Crackdown, play it. Fantastic game. Forget about Crackdown 2 however, terrible game.

meh crackdown 2 isnt terrible, its just basically the exact same game. Which had me pretty livid after dropping 60 bones on it.

this is the same thing that makes ps+ worthless to me.

i have either already played them or am totally uninterested in playing them and being "free" can't make up for me not wanting to play them.

No, they arent. Since you have to buy XBLG to get them "free" they arent actually free.

Thats as stupid as when playstation fanboys scream about getting free games except they forget to mention you have to buy PS+ to get the "free games"

But thats awful nice of microsoft to give crackdown a shitty old game that can be bought in retail form at gamestop for 2.99. Meanwhile PS+ subscribers get 5 games this month http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2013/07/17/playstation-plus-in-august-need-for-speed-most-wanted-mafia-ii-more/

Crackdown was one of my favorite games this gen, so I'm glad I'll get to replay it again. 

Never bought DR2, so I'm good with that too.

In that sense no downloadable game can be free since it requires you to pay for internet, hell even disc based games require you to pay for electricity.

But lets get real here if you were an xbox live member before, and now you are getting games you didnt have before at no additional cost (like most people)... its free to you.
