Not bad.

I thought Just Cause 2 was on the market for January?
Either way, Sleeping Dogs was cool as hell. Entertaining story, solid gunplay, excellent melee combat. The only thing I have to say against it is that learning to drive on the left is a huge pain in the ass.
Lara Croft and the GoL was superb. Best co op arcade game, like, ever. I kept saying that they ought to use the engine to make a 3DS Zelda game, but Nintendo never listens to my good ideas(considering their dark horse GotY win, though, maybe it's not so bad?).
Good. Sleeping Dogs is better than Just Cause 2 since M$ already sold me JC2 for $3 earlier this year.
For same-screen co-op, LC and the GoL is short but practically perfect. Sit down with a friend and play it through, you won't regret it.
Getting Better.
I got these games for free centuries ago on PS+. Not trying to take away the joy from this thread 'cos late is still better than never but M$ really needs to beef up the value of XBL Gold, it's a joke next to PS+.
PSN + was shit when it started. It got better. GWG probably will too especially since PSN+ has been kicking ass lately.
@Dire_Weasel: No "practically" about it. I loved the shit out of that game. Then add the cutscenes from the campaign with the alternate skins... so ridiculously amusing.

That allows you to keep games. Why would a company that wants to make money give away 20 recent games a month for free and allow you to keep it without renting? The services are not comparable.
GwG is really new ? Or is it a sales term ? Or actually a whole seperate xbl service you can get for diff price. Unless it like a xbl+ you cant say psn+ has some type of head start. Unlike xbl which had the 1st and orginal online service like a half a decade b4 the psn and already has competition. Ppl had the nerve to talk about psn when it came out.
That's actually pretty good. I've been meaning to pick up that 'Sleeping Dogs' game. Quite interested in that Tomb Raider game as well.
Wonder how much Albert "Cocksucker" Penello had to beg Squeenix for this one.
GWG getting better after the seventh gen ended. Good work. Then again I guess they need lems to keep up with their Shitbox Live subscriptions now they're jumping to PSN.
This is a step in the right direction, definitely some sort of deal going on with Square as these games we saw before on PS+ last year.
PS+ offered both of these games last year (May for Sleeping Dogs, June 2012 for Lara Croft) within a month of each other, but these games are a lot newer than the usual 3-5 year old games we've been getting with Games for Gold. It's definitely an improvement. The trend seems to be one retail game and one digital only arcade game per month. Not too shabby considering for years we got nothing.
Although I played them, I'll DL these 360 titles even though I played them just to get them in my queue for the future.
Did Squeenix ever end up turning a profit with Hitman Absolution/Sleeping Dogs/Tomb Raider? I'm not surprised they want the MS and Sony free games subsidy considering anyone who wanted them has them by now.
@freedomfreak: I think I already have both. I know I have Sleeping Dogs. Not sure if I have the full version of Lara Croft though. Both games are good though. They are getting better.

Not bad, although, it doesn't come near playstation plus
Yeah, but they arent rentals like PSPlus either.
@foxhound_fox: You know, Sony may have a problem here. Cause technically the games are not free per say, since you have to be on the + subscription to use them, once your sub runs out, you cannot use those games untill you re-subscribe. I do not know if the same bodes for Microsoft as well, but if they are giving the games for free without the DRM paywall, then Sony may really need to get their shite together

It doesnt, but you can still play them after Gold expires which is cool, especially for those who switch completely from 360 to PS4. You can still play those games without paying for gold anymore.
