Games you Couldn't get into this Gen

For me, it's Dragon Age. I just CAN'T get into it. So many stats to level up, awkward controls and confusing menus, ugh. Coming from someone who found it easy to get into Fallout 3. In DAO I just finished the Warrior origin story, now I have to do some quest with 3 other people from what I remember... I've had it for over 8 months and I just can't get into it.

Killzone 2. Singler player was good but I had more fun with other games so I never got around to beating it. I tried online once and never again.

Fallout3. It´s odd since Oblivion is one of my favourite games this gen.

halo 3, i just don't get the draw...same for the original halo's

killzone, i guess i just dont like the control scheme, i bought about a year ago, so i dont have it anymore but i heard they released a patch to fix the controls, oh well

Uncharted 2. I beat it but I don't see the praise it gets. Its pretty much the first one with a new background.

Killzone 2 - I don't know what it is about KZ2 but that goddamn FOV bothered me more than any game that I've played this gen on a console. Combine that with the controls which had such a weighty feel that it killed it for me.

inFamous- I didn't like ANYONE in that game, so much of the stuff I was doing didn't matter. I did like the gameplay somewhat. Hated the sniping enemies.

Farcry 2- It felt unfinished; respawning guard posts. annoying as hell

Crackdown 2- Ruffian, you ruined it.

Valkyria Chronicles- I thought it was kind of dull. I would like to go back to it however.

FF XII- .... Where do I start?

I'd also like to add Resistance 2, especially the online multiplayer. Call me crazy, but I like the original Resistance much more, and happily sank many hours into it whereas with Resistance 2 I spent about 10 hours online and then left it forever.

I couldn't get into GTA IV. I put two, maybe three, hours into it but I couldn't get behind it. I'm pretty sure it's because I felt the driving controls were awful.

Civilization 4. I have no idea what to do.

GTA4. The game was amazing at first, but after about 15 hours or so it got boring. I didn't even finish it.

Dragon Age and the Witcher.
I loved both the games yet after a few hours in i just couldn't bring myself to pick it up again.
Before reading OP dragon age was first on my mind.

Borderlands: Looting and shooting was never so boring for me. I just couldn't do it anymore. I still have it, though. I wish I would have sold it 6 months ago when I stopped playing it, but I always thought I would give it another shot.

inFamous: I wanted to love this game so much. I geek out of comic book type games, movies, etc. This game was just too repetitive, though. The side missions were all the same, and the main missions were getting pretty boring, too.

Anything made by Bethesda and Rockstar.

A lot of those big blockbuster games. Most notable God of War, Red Dead R, and Mass Effect 2.

Okami, i know is a PS2 game, but i got it for Wii, it's a really good game, but lack of time totally mess it for me, and then, other games arrive, and i never finish it.

RE: Umbrella Cronicles, fun game and all, but is nothing more than a rent IMO.

SSFIV, I loved SFIV, so i honestly don't know why i couldn't get into this new and better version, and now is all even worst since i have BlazBlue CS, and it's pretty much the best fighter i've played in a long time, so, sadly, no more SSFIV for the moment.

Crysis and GTA IV. Both games bored me to tears.

The World Ends With You - Gameplay was just random swipes & button presses. After that, you're greeted to emo cutscenes. I played it for about eight hours before sending it back to GameFly. Good thing I rented it.

Far Cry 2 - Drive 5+ minutes to reach your destination. Along the way, you'll run into respawning guard posts. Then while you're fighting them, your malaria will kick in. That stuff annoyed me. I also didn't like the multiplayer because mostly everyone just used the grenade launcher.

Soulcalibur IV was that game for me, for some reason the game didn't catch my attention and I just couldn't get into it no matter how long I played it.

Grand Theft Auto IV and Fallout 3.

Oblivion and Crackdown 2. Strange I played Fallout 3 first then Oblivion. I loved Fallout but I just couldn't play that much Oblivion. Especially when I became a vampire by accident. Oh boy that was a **** to get rid of.

Sins of a Solar Empire. It's the first time I tried an RTS. I just found it too slow and cumbersome to get into. I might play around with it a bit again once I get my replacement graphics card, and I might give Starcraft 2 a try. It has a campaign, so maybe that would give me more incentive to keep at it. The other one was Streetfighter IV.

I'm starting to come around on Mass Effect, but it's still just not as enjoyable to me as a full fledged shooter like Gears of War, Call of Duty, etc. or full fledged RPG like Oblivion.
