GHIII, Should have just bought Rock Band

Although New Super Mario Bros is a good game, I was hyping it to be as good as Super Mario Bros 3. Unfortunately, the repetitive levels, gameplay, power-ups, music, etc made me feel like I wasn't progressing at all throughout the game, where-as Super Mario Bros 3 had something new to offer with more difficult yet satisfying worlds to enjoy.

In other words, I overhyped NSMB.

Lair, Heavenly Sword, Resistance, Uncharted, GT5P, probably soon to be added to the list are GT5, and MGS4.

So many regrets.. so much money.. If only I could have had some intelligence and common sense.dipper145

Halo 2, SSBB, and Resistance

The only reason I had regret for Rfom was because the online was too crazy. Reminded me of U.T...Single player was one of the best experiences ever. Halo2 since my hype was SOOO ridiculous for that game. Plus the stuff they showed at E3; yea, about half of the stuff the shown never even happened in the real game. SSBB just felt gimped and gimmicky. It just felt tacked on in every way. The only thing that I still love is the amazing feeling you get while playing with all of your friends. For the most part, I dont regret my game purchases though

it was really fun for the first couple of hours...but it really started to drag down as soon as you had to re-visit the same cities.

Hmm...Jack Keane. I do not like stupid illogical puzzles which force me to go and read a walkthrough every ten minutes, and I basically knew the game would be such-is, so why did I buy it, why? Well, because it was supposed to have the humor of Monkey Island, which was a lie. The voice actors and delivery is just such ****. And the plot is freaking stupid, and not in a charming way. It's reminiscent of a kids show or something.

Warhawk was a waste of money. Its dumbed down simplisticness did not impress me.

spy hunter for xbox got it at a kohls' (clothing store). it was in a small rack at the checkout lane, and i had just endured hours of back to school shopping... I wanted something to help me recover so i bought it. within 10 minutes of playing it I HATED it. worst game purchase ever.

I will never buy a game at a clothing store ever again. lol

Hmm... I regret buying BioShock.

It was a rather big disappointment to me.

Innocent Life. The game's a cake-walk compared to Harvest Moon.

The Prince of Persia: WW. The game probably has the most bugs I've seen on a PS2.

B. I'm an optimist and hope that games get better, or at least go to their former glory. Such as I loved Super Mario World and the earlier incarnations of Mario games, and Zelda LttP, and TES:Arena was fun, and I thought TES:Redguard was what Ultima 9 should have been.

Typically, games have been opposite of movies, and gameplay has been added in later versions, so they're better than the previous versions. But each TES game keeps removing more and more from the previous game and getting worse imho.

I'm a big adventure game fan. I own every Sierra game ever made before 1995 with the exception of Ultima: Escape From Mount Drash. Also, I have practically every Lucas Arts Adventure Game ever made, and am a fan of RPGs such as the Wizardries, Betrayal at Krondor, Divine Divinity, Magic Candle series, the Ultima series, etc. Also a fan of FPS's such as UT, CoD. All in all, I probably own more games than every person who's posted before me combined. But if I had to say I hate 1 game over any other, it's Myst. Yes, I use the term hate when it comes to Myst.

Tribes 1 & 2 were good, never played Tribes: Vengeance. I also enjoyed Terra Nova (if you enjoy Tribes, you'll most likely enjoy Terra Nova).
