If its a paid copy, i want a remake, no remasters. If its a free patch that "remasters", God of War is the one im the most interested in.

Well, i just heard that there might be a full Demons Souls remake by BluePoint. Their SotC remake was amazing, so there is huge potential.

Literally nothing. I think remasters are a waste of time and effort. Either remake, or preferably just make a new game.

Those two games are absolutely begging for a PS5 REMAKE in 4K/60 fps on the Fox Engine or something newer. remade not only graphically but updated with more modern controls i.e. MGS4/MGS5 style.

I generally do not think any PS3 games need remakes or remasters as of yet, they are still fresh in memory and do not benefit as much.

With PS4 games you should be able to insert the PS4 disc (FFVII, RDR2, Spiderman, Days Gone, Death Stranding, you name it) right into the PS5 and it should run natively 4K/60fps.

Other games could be like Devil May Cry (2001), Resident Evil 4 (2005), Jak & Daxter, etc.

When PS6 arrives we can get 8K/60 remakes of PS3 games like Uncharted trilogy, MGS4, Souls games etc.

Suikoden 1-2, Breath of Fire 3-4, Wild Arms 1-2, Jade Cocoon, Legend of Dragoon, Legend of Legaia, Xenogears, CHRONO Cross, Valkyrie Profile, Front Mission 3, Vandal Hearts, Vanguard Bandits, Dino Crisis 1-2, Parasite Eve 1-2.....

Yeah, basically just looking at games from the PS1 I loved in the past.

i prefer remakes over remasters. it improves the graphics dramatically and it updates controls and mechanics that are outdated

I think Magnum3000 meant to say 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand game that was on Xbox 360/PS3 and I used to rent that game from Blockbusters when renting games was still a thing. There's also another 50 Cent game called 50 Cent: Bulletproof on Xbox/PS2.

I gotta say, the rapper 50 Cent was a big star back in his primes.

Odd that Bulletproof was shit but ended up being a hit whereas Blood on the Sand which was pretty decent, flopped.

A free remaster patch for the PC and next gen consoles of Watch_ Dogs E3 2012 build but better of course I still feel ripped off also add The Division to that list.

@Juub1990: Bulletproof was okay-ish in a way. I used to like 50 and he was my first rapper who I can actually play as. Besides Def Jam series of course.

I'm with Pedro, give me bc and update the games with hdr, better frames, 4k, etc. I'm not a fan of buying games multiple times for a graphic update.

Is the PS5 even capable of doing 4K/60 in future titles? Without asset scaling, probably not.

Honestly, after the Spyro, Crash, and Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes, I don't want anymore upscaled games. All they do is sharpen up outdated graphics and do nothing to improve on the aging design.

No more remasters. This last gen was loaded with remasters.

Just Bloodborne really, though I'd rather they announced Bloodborne 2.

Remastered as in "old games, just running in higher resolution and more fps"? That's just sad, maybe you should consider PC, because there's almost no framerate/resolution cap most of the time, and even if there is, there's a pretty good chance someone already found a way to get rid of it. You basically just buy the game once and that's it...

Not to mention that you can already do 4K@60 (and beyond) for like half of the games in OP with a half decent PC...

Complete remakes are exciting, remasters are not. A lot of 'remastered' games are the biggest ripoff in gaming. Literally the same as going into a PC graphics setting menu and upping the resolution and anti-aliasing and costs ya 60 dollars to boot.

60FPS ruins the physics of a lot of older games and 4K is just a resolution.

I would much rather have Ray Traced remasters at 1080/1440P.

so i guess the series x can't then? 12 terflops are not magically going to make your games 4k/60 over a 9 to 10 teraflop machine.

if the one x is doing 4k/60 with 6 teraflops.

@gifford38: First I'm a PC guy.

Second 9-10 vs 12 TFLOPs isn't anything to sneeze at.

Third, 30 vs 60 is the paradigm but many "30 FPS" systems fall at around 45FPS. Consistency matters.

@floppydics: not a fan of C&C Remastered I take it?

I haven't played the remastered version yet but it seems to play like a 4k upscale with slight gameplay tweaks and upgraded assets. No doubt it will be great as C&C is an absolute classic and good game in it's own right. But not that excited about it as it seems almost the same as what I played years ago. At least it's only 20 dollars I guess for those who want it.

I would love to see several games remastered, but being able to play old ones already owned on the system would be better.
