Games/franchises you have been waiting for an update on

Could be games already in development or games that you think could be in development.

Announced:

Fable 4: This game was teased in 2020.. I never played the previous games, so I was excited that it was getting a reboot. I think PlayGround games is an amazing developer, but Forza Horizon is starting to get too same-y each release. I think this will be a great opportunity for them. Hopefully we see it at Xbox show!

Perfect Dark: Another Xbox announcement from 2020. This would be an awesome game if done right and would really help separate Xbox from other systems.

Unannounced

• New 3D Mario game: this is as predictable as the sun, but predicting when it will come out is another thing lol.
• Persona 6: this is no doubt in development as Persona 5 was extremely successful and is considered one of the best JRPGs on the market.

Wishful Thinking

• Nier game: Nier Automata was also very successful, with 5+ million companies sold. I would be shocked if they don’t make another one. Hopefully Platinum makes it.

Alan wake 2

Just reveal gameplay please.

Metroid Prime 4: when!? where!? We haven't seen anything except a logo. I do hope it's a game for nintendos next system though.

Shenmue 4

I know it probably won't happen after the disaster release of Shenmue 3 after 18 years. I definitely would hope it could get made though probably would need a huge overhaul in terms of gameplay and story and a huge budget like Shenmue and Shenmue 2.

Metroid Prime 4

Huge reason why I got a Switch about 2 years ago. I really have a feeling it won't release till 2024 or maybe after Nintendo remasters Metroid Prime 2/3.

Skate 4. We know that it's in development, but we don't have any details about it.

There is so little chance that PD turns out well, that my hopium meter is sub 10%. Probably another 30fps game😆

As for DD, i know its gonna be excellent, but i hope they introduce some coop hunting mechanics from MH. Its something i wanted in the original, and it'd suck real hard if its not in the sequel.

Will be inferior to RE4R, and when you finally understand what's real high production games, and have finished TLOU, you will accept AW being far behind actual bangers.

wut? the original was my first fps. there are no franchises that i am more nostalgic toward. Been talking and praising PD for as long as i've been on SW.

WH40K Darktide, they released the PC version late last year and delayed the Xbox version. Supposedly even the PC game needs lots of work to be better and I've seen Fatshark has been updating it here and there. I have no idea when we can expect the Xbox version though. Not even sure what PC players think about the state of the game currently, but I just hope the Xbox version releases when the game is ready.

I don't think Perfect Dark is even coming to Series unless it is cross gen with the next consoles. I'd be surprised if PD showed up at E3.

Nothing really! Just kind of taking it all as it comes. I guess if I sat for a while and thought about it Id like to know if there will be another portal game or whether a new mass effect game has been developed properly or whether it's gonna be an Andromeda sized turd.... I'm also feeling ready for another big Bethesda game so Starfield and a new fallout game peak my interest. I'm also reluctantly interested in what this new AC game is.

New Mario, Metroid Prime 4, TimeSplitters 4, Monster Hunter 6, whatever new stuff SoR4 team will do, Castlevania, Contra, Banjo Kazooie, SP Quake, Hollow Knight: Silksong. Probably more.

Find it weird we only got one game. Best rhythm game I've played by far.
