Good. The more hatred towards mini-game crap, the better.
And it's a damn shame they made it that way, because Viva Pinata was really good IMO.
OMG, didn't see this coming! Lemmings have teh flop of teh year. Seriously though, this saddens me as Viva Pinata was an amazing game. I bought for my girlfriend to play and once I got my hands on it I couldn't stop playng.
I doubt anyone really cares, not hyped probably not even wanted.Jynxzor
I don't know about any AAA crap or anything. But this game was hyped to counter the very discussed, innovative Little Big Planet on PS3.
Looks like it ain't gonna even come close.
It wasn't made by Rare that's why, it was outsourced to some no name developer.OMG, didn't see this coming! Lemmings have teh flop of teh year. I guess Rare is too busy with Banjo Kazooie and Perfect Dark 2

Lemmings have always said they they too could reach the mass audience with games like Party Animals. That it would be able to hold its own against a casual power like LBP. Deny it all you want. It did happen.

The audience this game is targeted towards don't check review scores, this game was made for children under the age of 9.Viva Pinata was a quality title that Rare made, this is just trying to make a quick buck.
How has Rare been making flops? All of their recent games have been AA-AAA.
Conker, Kameo, Perfect Dark Zero, Viva Pinata.

why don't you address my previous post, I would like to hear your response.
Ignorance is bliss, this game was not developed by Rare.[QUOTE="BreakingPoint8"][QUOTE="Relys"]Another flop from rare.Relys
Well the original thing was... Anywho, I osociate Rare with this series. (The first one WAS made by rare).
Well you're obviously wrong. The original scored a 8.3 here and an average of 8.5, so how about instead of blurting out random fanboy comments you actually look into what you're talking about. Or make a fool out of yourself, whatever works for you.Shame , maybe Viva Pinata : Kart Racing or Viva Pinata Brawl will be better.

How could you forget Viva Pinata Bongo Drums? And Viva Pinata Strikers? And what about Viva Pinata All Stars?
I agree, and the reason I didn't want this game was because Rare didn't make it. Rare's only flop in my Opinion is Grabbed by the Ghoulies. How has Rare been making flops? All of their recent games have been AA-AAA.

Why Microsoft, why? There's already a bunch of crappy kids games on the 360, no one wants another one. If they think this will attract more people from a certain demographic they're sorely mistaken. I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad how miserably and consistantly Microsoft has failed at producing these sort of games. Whacked, Fusion Frenzy + 2... Give it up already FFS. Just let Rare do their thing and let everything else be.

Its such a sad state when the Cows only glory seems to come in the failings of a game like VP: PA for 360.
So soak it up champ!
You PWNED everyone big time!!!

Ahh, I remember the good old days. Where anything Rare touched, turned to gold. Goldeneye, Conker, Banjo Kazooie, Perfect Dark.
Now we're reduced to calling Perfect Dark Zero an AAA game.

It wasn't ONE fanboy.
There were many discussion around/after E3 about the innovation of LBP and how it would be one of many titles PS3 would have that would pull in the casuals to compete with Nintendo. And during those discussions many lemmings used Viva Pinata as 360's answer to this issue.
I'm not saying anyone claimed any score or "A's". I'm just saying that it was touted as a LBP match, a game to take buyers away from Nintendo and PS3. And after the reviews it doesn't seem to hold that weight.
That is all.

your getting your games mixed up... viva pinata and party animal are totally different.... party animal is a bunch of minigames.... your talking about viva pinata which got a 8.3 here....Who cares who made it at this point. Lemmings have always said they they too could reach the mass audience with games like Party Animals. That it would be able to hold its own against a casual power like LBP. Deny it all you want. And what happens when LBP ends up being average, not to mention I don't recall ANYONE touting Party Animals as a defense against the "all mighty" LBP. Everyone who had an inkling of an idea about this game KNEW it was a quick cash in attempt on the license since the REAL Viva Pinata game didn't do so well as Rare had hoped.
