I want to know who is the most Renouned, most Respected and overall Greatest GAME DEVELOPER of all time.

Noticed I highlighted game developer, because this isn't a list of greatest publisher, or internet portal manager, store, or anything else....just game DEVELOPER.

I went with Blizzard, and my top 5 would have been something like:

1. Blizzard
2. EAD 3 (zelda series)
3. DICE
4. Konami
5. Naughty Dog

SOmething like that I guess. old RARE, valve, and others are definitely up there.

They made a good move with the PC version of DMC 4 - they optimized it for 64-bit and DX 10.

Only thing is, all they can make are platformers...god, why can't they make a JRPG with Nero and Dante working together? Much better than what they're doing with the new DMC. *sigh*

Yes, and the graphics were phenomenal. It shows Square-Enix what they could have done with Final Fantasy on the PC, if they had tried a little better than they did with FF VIII.
