Well, great. Maybe now that our system is "back" our games can continue being reviewed as games and not as "games on that one system." Seriously, if this doesn't provide insight into how GameSpot viewed the PS3 over the past months, or even year, then I don't know what does.

An unfavorable view of certain aspects of the console doesn't mean Gamespot is going to give the PS3's games extra harsh reviews, that doesn't even really make sense. I mean, is this what you think goes on?

Alex: "Wow, PSHome and Little Big Planet look great! Wish I knew about that before the Motorstorm review, I would have given the game an 8.5!"

Jeff: "Why? What does PSHome and Little Big Planet have to do with Motorstorm?"

Alex: "Well.. they just make the PS3 better... which makes Motorstorm better, somehow. I mean, Little Big Planet lets you create your own levels, and it's co-op, and it looks really fun! How can that NOT effect my review score of an unrelated racer?!!"

Jeff: "Yah, I see your point. Do you think we should change Resistance's score and make it AAA?"

Alex: "Nah, too late now. Too bad it didn't get delayed."

Obviously, the above is just nonsense. Heck, if anything, one could argue that an unfavorable view of certain aspects of a console would cause Gamespot to give PS3 reviews better scores, because they judge games partially on the standards of the system they are on. (For example, Twilight Princess got a 9 in graphics on the Wii. It would probably have scored a bit lower in that regard had it been released on the more powerful Xbox 360 or PS3)

You know whats going to pain me KeyWii. We sat here and defended the PS3 against thee most innaccurate, envious, hateful, degrading statements from 360 fanboys and Wii fanboys. We argued against their ignorance with intelligent predictions and true statments. What pains me is how many fanboys are going to jump ship again. Most of those idiotic "cows" jumped from PS2 to 360 and will probably hop back over to PS3 because its doing well. If that happens Im leaving SW. If PS3 does comeback and those fanboys want to comeback Ill post all the failure PS3 threads that I posted against but then I'll leave.

It's how everyone viewed the PS3 but die-hard Sony fanboys (for example - you.) Even ignoring GS - look at GR's, the compilation from all credible game reviewers on the web and in print, the PS3 has yet to get a 9.0+ game. That sets a record in the industry for the longest a console has gone post-launch without one.

The launch was a disapointment. PS3 was ridiculed by even the mainstream press. Things will improve for the PS3 not because "Gamespot used to be biased," but because the PS3's launch was a terrible disapointment from a software perspective.

i dont see it that way.. if ps3 delivers people buy if it not people wont buy.. if 360 deliverys you buy and thats whats happening. if people only have or only want to spend money on 1 console they look for the one that is delivering.. rightnow 360 is gell1n, for me wii is so not gell1n.. but the question here is when will ps3 gonna start gell1n? while your waiting for ps3 to answer ill be gell1n with my 360 like a fel0n. beldugo

Nothing has changed really with the ps3. They showed an interesting service called "Home", but is that enough? I personally think its something they should have had on launch, and we dont even know everything there's to know about this service...I just think its too early.

I just dont think the ps3 is worth anything right now.
