They dont point out the flaws of video games in the reviews and mention ways it could of been better.... what also pisses me off they do not really mention how many multiplayer maps alot of online games have...

Detailed information about games like that is usually given ahead of time. I don't know which game (if any) in particular you are refering to, but you might want to check the information on that game, rather than the review.

They often DO point out the flaws, Sometimes they point out things that are so minor, yet somehow manage to make it into the review. But mentioning ways the game could be better seems rather "what if" to me.

I'd rather have them tell it to me like it is.

That being said, GS reviews tend to be a little too pessimistic sometimes, and other times, they just seem to be plain wrong (as opposed to how I feel about a game), or as though they were reviewed by the wrong person (case in point, R&CF:TOD)

Which game review are you referring to though?

It all depends on the person writing the review.

But there's been so many times i read a review for a game with a online multiplayer and they do not mention a maplist count....that pisses me off.

plus they dont really explain the flaws of game and how it could of been better...so developer doesnt repeat same mistake.

i gotta go back through review....but i dont think gamespot mentioned how many multiplayer maps halo 3 includes...i counted it's 13 i think...how hard is it a count how many maps a game has?

gamespot should of made a mention....why halo 3 lacks a aim assist off option....gamespot should of wrote bungie must have some newbie developers with terrible aim with a analog stock so they force everyone to play with it...people like me have good aim with the analog so good i actually gotta fight the aim assist.

I seen in killzone2 there's aim assist....also i saw no opition to turn it off.

no option=lower score this is how it should be.

no reason for developers to force good players to play like a goddamn newbie.

Do gamespot need for me to film myself playing unreal on pc with a 360 controller winning matches no aim assist or auto aim?

if i can kick pc players/keyboard and mouse players ass with a controller faster game.

Why the hell does halo slow ass game have aim assist?

it effects gameplay...im very good at aiming....the game will pull in directions i dont want.

the noobs barly touch the analog very sloppy aim so dont gotta fight the aim assist really.
