This is seriously messed up. Bioshock is listed even though it came out last year! But Gears2 one of the best games isn't on the list. Unless they are saying Gears2 is currently at the top so there is no more momentum to gain...but I doubt they are saying that.

I already left my disdain for that list on the page.

They don't even wait for Persona 4, but they nominate a port of Bioshock. No Crysis Warhead, nothing worth even noting.

THis is why I can't take GS seriously anymore. Its like the anus of the internet when it comes to game reviews.

From what I know about Resistance 2 it is a significant upgrade from R1 and does things no other console shooter has done before with multiplayer.

Gears 2, while awesome, is still Gears of War and didn't really change significantly from Gears 1.

That's not proof of anything but their stupidity or a HUGE mistake lol. I think..no..I know that Bioshock and NHL 09 should be replaced with Gears 2 and either L4D/Fable 2. My vote went to MGS4 though :P.Episode_Eve

It's in there for the sports genre duh...NHL09 is the clear winner of Sports game of the year. And no, it shouldn't even be replaced by gears, beacuse at least NHL09 brought many new things to the table.

Gears 2 is still the same game with a boring story, amazing gameplay and crap multiplayer. Nothing new there. But I will admit R2 doesn't belong on that either, I could give it the same description I gave gears.

Nope, it's the truth. No anger whatsoever, unless you hate hearing the truth... That's just the way it is. You don't own the console, so it's only natural that you'd favor PS3. Those who can only own one tend to be hostile towards the other consoles. It's been proven time and time again. You diss every 360 game. You called Gears 2 crap before it was even out. Btw...on Metacritic the average for R2 is 86...while Gears has an average of 93. I guess these averages explain why one is making lots of money and the other one is being ignored by gamers.
