How come everything is scored in increments of 5? Show me one game in 2009 that is not 9.5, 9.0, 8.5, or 8.0. Did they change their scoring rules?

yes they did, after a controversy over the scorings of Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess they changed it to what we know today.

So I guess anything under a 9.0 is a flop instead of the 9.2.

Flop is about wether or not a game met it's hype, not just the overall score.

I miss the good ol days when a game could just flop due to a 10th of point. Now it's an entire half a point. :roll:

They changed it for the better imo Games are far too subjective to be scoring them 9.2, 8.7, 7.9 etc.
