Go Gamespot!! You guys are on a roll flopping games lol. On a serious note, why is Gamespot so so so so darn picky! I mean Judging from the 2 demos of GRAW 2, I could have sworn it would have atleast got 9.0 here on GS. SO what gives!!! I honestly think Gamespot are trying to be the outcasts and not go along with other reviewers giving games good ratings!! So lets see, thats 3 games in a row that where robbed of good ratings.. Motorstorm should have been low AA, but flopped to A. CrackDown also should have been low AA but also flopped to A, and now GRAW 2 should have been low AAA but now flopped to AA. When will it stop!!!

My thoughts exactly.
From what I've seen they really didn't do anything to evolve the game and it's only been a year since the original released. 8.7 seems like a good score for a game that seems to tweak the first game and add new maps for MP play.
It's probably just as good as the first but it doesn't come with that wow feeling of something new. It's not a bad score at all for a one year later sequel.

So achievements makeup 8% of the total score on GS? According to previous reviews of GS owning Multiplats for the PS3 it does. But yeah that was and exaggeration. It will probably get an 8.5

Review scores are a guide too buy which game not game rankings... 8.7 being higher than 8.6 doesn't mean that you will have more fun playing GRAW 2 than Resistance.. that depends on your choice and opinion...anyways 8.7 is a awesome score.
What I don't get is how they can say "single player's over before you know it" and still give it a 9 in value? Motorstorm got a ****ing 6 in value with a "single player that was over before you knew it" and "an impressive multiplayer" Just like GRAW2. Does not having a split screen and a slightly more shallow experiance call for a 3 point downgrade? I think not!!!!

Is this really a shock to you? GRAW 2 has very minimal graphics updates, plays the exact same as GRAW 1, and the single campaign (according to GameSpot) is shorter than GRAW 1. There is not enough new innovative ideas to warrant AAA status again. I actually was expecting an 8.5 based on the previews and such, so it actually scored higher than I thought it would...

GRAW's online features are endless. It has coop, a bunch of customizable match settings, and clan support. I've played motorstorm online, and its downright sloppy and extremely limited option-wise. Thats why there's a score difference
