Cutting your ties with a franchise or company at the point they cease to appeal to you is just logical. That's not fanboyish. I guess we could be less aggressive, it's just a game, but we react as if they raped a family member when they 'betray us', i.e. take the franchise into a different direction.

His second point about youtube-quality posts is a different matter lol. Some are just trolls. Many are unecucated and/or too lazy to put effort behind each individual post. Especially when you throw anonymity in the mix.
