Many people here at SW say that GS will never give out another 10 because no game is "perfect". That is totally true because no game is and will ever be perfect. Well now that the new 10 is PRIME and not "perfect" means that gamespot is now eligible to give out 10s to groundbreaking games.
Definition of Prime at Websters.com(note the chief or best individual or part, and prime of the flock)When something is in its prime means that it is at its best at its field. Prime does not equal perfect, but only means "Best of the best", or on a whole-other level that the others.
I hope i am making some since here but I will give the best example I can. Michael Jordan at his prime was better than any other basketball player at that time but he is by far not a "perfect" basketball player by any stretch.
I hope i cleared this up as best I can and if i am wrong please feel free to share your comments. Thanks for your read
