Gamespots slow with content

When ever i come back to gamespot to see whats new its never been updated. Other gamesites have kept being updated i swear gametrailers.com has added new videos in a steady stream and gamespots hasnt updated in yonki only use it now for the forums

I just come here for system wars and other forums.

Yea Gamespot really has slowed down alot these days, I've noticed that IGN and a few others will have things like reviews and such up long before Gamespot does. I wonder if they are under manned or something now? And what is with some of the people they have doing the reviews these days? Also I always laugh whenever you see Gamespot use Gamespot UK's reviews.

What is even worse is that Gamespot doesn't even have the extra content like IGN does, so you'd think they could stay on top of reviews and news updates. Heck Gamespot still doesn't have their Bayonetta review up but IGN has for like a week now?

What is wrong Gamespot? Did you perhaps fire a certain person who did more than their fair share of work and now you can't keep up with things?

Yes to be honest i have been quite dissappointed with them over the last couple of months, all news that have been posted on the front page could be found on one of their forums 2 1/2 hour earlier

i agree, GS was never useful regarding being informative, i usually use Vgchartz (yeah, the most unreliable soure around) or VG247, they are both great site for keeping you up to date wz everything even wz the minor stuff ........GS can be summarized in two words, forums and scores ( i rarely read the reviews).

I'm starting to think they're understaffed.

They should go the Giant Bomb route and only spend man-hours covering games that people care about.

It's pretty much why I ignore their editorial content for the most part. That is except for E3.They seem to step it up a bit, even if their live streams will almost always fail at the beginning of the press conferences. I really don't understand why they can't ever seem to get that right.
