Perfect Dark is a classic. And still fun today.

It isn't that PDZ didn't stand the test of time, GS just F'ed up on the review right off the bat.

What you're looking for is those games that got high marks, but are now widely denounced *cough*Halo 2*cough* and those that got low marks that became strong classics, probably Mario Kart 64, or Dues Ex. I'm sure there are more out there.

Wait, I pop in Perfect Dark 64 and have tons of fun from multiplayer and single. In my opinion, it well withstood the test of time. I still have more fun playing that by myself than any of those halos....tocool340

I agree with PD not having aged all that well.

The controls really are pretty bad. Looking around with the C-buttons feels really clunky compared with dual-analog console shooters today.

The graphics were really muddy too, last I played, but that might just be because the N64 didn't have an expansion pack.

Halo 2 is most definitely NOT widely denounced. Thousands and thousands of people still play it every day.

its the dreamcast controller with an extra analoge... personally the KB/M is a win fo FPS, but i like the dualshock over xbox controller anyday IMO

GS has made some awful reviews, but those two aren't them. "only" a 9.4? I agree that Mario 64 was 10/10 material, but those reviews are still more than fair.

Want some bad examples, just look at Zelda:TP, The Phantom Menace, Metroid Prime 3, R&C, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3, and so on. Those were so off the mark that they weren't even funny.
