Guess you didnt read the link eh?
Spiffy 360 version has very marginal visual edge over PS3 version, but not enough to start a flame war.
Iffy Button layout isn't great; still the old April demo, only now with a timer.
Not enough to start a flame war? Ive seen like 5 threads on this already lol.

Our gripe with the Xbox 360 demo is that the controls feel too directly ported over to Microsoft's controller, and it's not a good ergonomic fit. While the DMC games on PlayStation have used R1 to modify Dante's attacks, the Right Bumper doesn't feel natural to the gameplay experience, and certainly feels weird when you're targeting enemies to slay. Maybe it's just for the demo, and Capcom will allow for controller configurations that are better tuned to the Xbox 360's controller, but it felt really awkward to play during our demo. Aside from that, the face buttons feel perfectly fine, and the rest of the build, aside from the annoyance of the Right Bumper, is still very fun. We just wish Capcom hadn't slapped a ten-minute time limit on the "Exterminator" section, but then again, we've braved the Games Convention crowd on public days; those kids would never get off the machines.Gamespot said the versions look identical.
It just depends on who was watching/playing the game.
I said this like 4 times today lol.

It like that with most PS3/360 games though. Most of the time the versions are not noticably different and you will only notice if they are like side by side

They're identical to our eyes. Capcom had kiosks set up with Xbox 360 and PS3 demos running literally side by side; we couldn't note a difference in frame rate or image fidelity between them.
These games keep looking better on 360 because the 360 is able to put out more.. all the ps3 fans keep denying this despite game after game that comes out the same time looking better on 360.. in theory yes, the cell should be able to do amazing stuff, but for all practical purposes, the ps3 is limited by its video card, and nothing any ps3 fan says can change this..Heithgamespot said it looked the same

Ok, that's going too far. It just said the two look identical. It'll try to "rim it out" to the xbox fans that its a hair more polished to make you feel better. But honestly, what really hinders the 360 is a lack of a cpu which in turn causes frame rate dips on certain graphic-intensive games. Now I know you all want to warrant you purchase, but come on, honestly. The Ps3 is not limited by its video card, and if anything, we've been shown that the Ps3 has an edge.
Just because you feel something is right, doesn't make it so. There's a trend of the 360 having more shiny outlook in things, but all in all multiplatforms usually look identical. A little fps here and a little hair here, makes your fanboy radar go off, when its merely a multiplatform and shouldn't be the basis to show how grahically powerful the two are.
Games like Oblivion are a lot better looking and smoother, its really up to the developer to utilize it. And time isn't a factor here, considered we've had multiplats look WORSE over time.
So before you even attempt at bashing the PS3, look more towards its collection of exclusives and multiplatforms as a whole, instead of nitpicking each one, and the same for the other consoles.
DMC4 is an awesome game worthy to be played on any system really, so before you turn this into another flaming ps3 thread, try to be considerate to your fellow fanboys. A lot of them have 360s and Wiis as well.

I'm not trying to warrant my purchase because I own a ps3, and all two good games it has out... I'm pissed about it, it was a crappy investment, and I want to transpose my anger in it on everyone else.So if you have a button swap option the control problem is nothing, and every game has that...Wait! it's a Japanese dev omg we ARE owned those guys don't know how to do that.
PS3 wins.
edit: Maybe they will figure it out before release....Nah...just a pipe dream.
