Gamespy: PES 08 On PS3 Is More Fluid & Ahead of 360 Version

After playing at least a round on each console, once to a crushing defeat, then a tie on 360, and finally a victory on the PS3, we can confidently say that it feels pretty similar to last year's game on 360, and oddly, it feels a little more fluid on the PS3.

And does anyone else find this ironic?An American Football game(Madden) was better on the 360 than the PS3, but a real football is better on the PS3 than the 360.Just goes to show the different focus of Sony and MS.

So basically this guy 'thought' that it was a 'little smoother' because it 'seemed' to have a few more animations on PS3? I'll wait for the review 'cause I really don't want to buy another 2 PS3 controllers.

Also the PS3 controller just doesn't stack up to the 360's. It may have a better d-pad but in this game that is irrelevant.

Actually nope. Oblivion is much btter on PS3 and just for the file. PS3 games that will be ported on 360 will look better on PS3. Up to now we had the opposive way(360 games get port to PS3) but soon games like UT3 when they will release for 360 will look worse than their PS3 versions.

I wonder if that's because of the controller, or because of the progress with the actual game. I've always thought PES was ill-suited to the 360's controller.

omg!! do you always spew this much BS? there is no way to know wich platform is better yet, right now they are pretty even with the 360 having the upper hand on multiplats because the 360 is the lead platform with the bigger install base, and longer time on the market,hopefully when wii overtakes the 360 it wont be the lead platform so ps3 and 360 gets ports from the wii :(
