Gamestop: Get Madden 16 free w/ PS4 purchase

Seems like a pretty sweet deal for people wanting to go next-gen for ye olde Madden fix this year. It also seems like Sony is striking back at the Madden XBone bundle.

They've had pretty much that same deal for a bit now, but it looks like they just reconfigured it to add Madden as one of the 2 games

Yeah, actually on a second read it just features Madden but it looks like it can be any two games.

This year's Madden is pretty good! Anyone who likes football should get it.

Football games are so terrible. I used to like them, but just can't anymore. I don't know how anyone enjoys, but good deal for those that do!

Except, the Bone has had nowhere near an Uncharted or MGS4 moment yet, making the comparison laughable at best.

Yeah, Halo 5 better launch flawless and 10s across the board to keep and generate momentum for that moment. Hopefully, 343i learned a lot from MCC. The press afterwards when all the MP problems came about killed the fanfare.

PS4 or Xone for NBA 2K16 & Madden - Question for people who have both Systems...

I'm wanting to get a new Video Game System to play NBA 2K16 and Madden. I only play the offline Franchise and My Player Modes (Don't pay for the online stuff). Which system would be better to get, Playstation 4 or Xbox One?

I might get a Hockey game and a soccer game in the future as well. And maybe a Need for Speed game.

I've been an Xbox guy, but thought I would switch to Sony back when the new systems were announced (after Xbox said you'd have to always be online, no used games, etc, before backtracking.) Now I'm just trying to decide which system would be best.

Smart for Sony. Buy a PS4... get Madden for free. No need to get the Xbox One bundle.

But any gamer that would pass up on a system based off of a measly copy of some third party game isn't really the smartest bulb, lol.

Xbox One is probably your best bet if you are highly interested in EA's Madden, NFS and other sports franchises. The Xbox One is the only system with "EA Access" which is a paid subscription serves for $30 for the whole year. The Madden Xbox One bundle also includes a year's subscription with it. With EA Access, you have a permanent discount on buying all EA games, early access to demos and games even before they are out on the PS4 (like Star Wars Battlefront), and they regularly add games to their "vault." The vault is a collection of games you can download and play for free with unlimited access with no purchase needed.

For this alone, I would say the Xbox One. But I haven't much interest in Madden and other sports titles. So I can't comment on the My Player modes and such.

On a serious note, i find funny these labels people use to bash gaming consoles: brobox 360, indiestation, moviestation, etc, etc. It remembers me those word games i used to play with my friends 30 years ago.

Thanx for the response. But I wouldn't pay for the EA Access.

I don't have a ton of time to play and would play the few games I own. Plus, I wouldn't be interested in the other EA sports games, besides the couple I buy.

I only buy each sports game once every few years (Football, Basketball, etc) to make it a long ways into my offline Franchise.

The last thing that has ever come to mind for me, especially this generation for Sony would be value...

I hope when Persona 5 releases they do a Persona 5 bundle... hopefully though with a respectibly designed PS4, most the LE PS4's have looked like 100% pure unadulterated ass juice.
