It's not the beta it is the demo! :P I'm only being so specific about it because that means we get to play the full build apposed to the ALPHA build the PS3ers played the first time around.

lol Then why is the PC version going to be so vastly superior to the console versions if it's "made for consoles"? It sucks because the beta was horrible. I can tell it's going to be much better on the PC. The controls, the graphics, the fact that there's dedicated servers and lobbies, etc etc. The controls were just bad for a console FPS. The hit detection is garbage. The sniping is laughable. The spawn points are the worst ever. You have no idea how many times people just camped in my spawn with tanks and killed me over and over. The maps are way too big and there's pretty much no point of not being in a vehicle. The destruction wasn't anything special. The graphics suck(mostly the lighting, everything's WAY too shiny). The level design is so boring. The classes suck, as well as the guns themselves. I'm sorry but this game is extremely "meh".

Because it's built for consoles and PC. All versions have dedicated servers. PC version won't have lobbies. Don't think any version will.
Sounds like you found issues with it because it didn't play like some other game you like. And maybe also because IT WAS A BETA. And like you just plain did not bother to stick around for long enough to learn how the game works. You say the hit detection and sniping is garbage. That the destruction is "nothing special". Why exactly?
Because of the beta, a lot of bugs, issues and things have been addressed. Because that's the point of a beta. Spawns and tank-related stats have been tweaked.
