[QUOTE="ActicEdge"][QUOTE="Kennysolidsnake"] I wouldnt be so sure.. we are talking about a brand of consoles that have sold more than all other consoles in gaming history combined.. the PSone and PS2 combined have sold nearly 300 million units.. PS3 dominance isnt far fetched at all eventuallyBrownesque
That's false. They have sold about 240 million units. The PS2 and PS3 wish they sold more than every other system in existance, they haven't but they wish they have. Oh, you said console, nevermind, that is true . . . perhaps (not really).Let's take arough count, 60 million NES, 50 million NES, 32 million N64, 22 million gamecube, 24 million Xbox, 34 million 360, 57 million Wii. oops nevermind, you're wrong. I'm only going back to the NES too.
You have no clue what you are talking about. The appeal of the PS3 is nowhere near the level of the PS2 or PS1. Not even close. Its a pipe dream friend, nothing more.
Your figure comes out to 279 million total for all of those consoles from NES to Wii. That would be a 39 million difference between every console ever sold since the NES from every console manufacturer and JUST the PS2 and PS1. So give me PS2 sales, another, what, 27 million, and you have a 12 million difference? Could there be anything more trivial? How about this, Sony had the most consoles sold out of all time up until this generation.Well duh, what he said is false however. Off by60 million units, not to mention thinking the PS2 and PS3 have outsold EVERYTHING is ridiculous. All the gens before NES and handheld systems whichby themselves (GB, GBA, DS) trump Sony's efforts.I know who sold the most systems. I mean, we have limited to consoles opposed to systems since the Wii, gameboy, DS, and NES would have that number beaten and nintendo have sold the most units. Its trivial but its wrong. Its being limited to consoles because that's the only way his false point stands. I'm only being blunt here because its incorrect information.
