Anyone surprised? In 2007 Crysis didn't even win there, and they obviously saw the PS3 version because no way does Uncharted 3 beat the PC version.

Well, all things considered, a GTS 250 is really powerful compared to the GPUs of the Xbox 360/PS3, but it's a long shot from even the mid-range GPUs of today's PC GPU market.

Thats kind of ignorant of them to say. I could understand them saying the graphics were the best based on accessibility considering not many will be able to max out Battlefield 3, thats fine.For them to flat out say UC3 outshines the PC version of Battlefield 3 which many will spend countless hours building a rig to run is pretty ridiculous.

Also, no Gears 3 = fail.

The 250gts was outdated when it came out, it was released as a budget card not even as a midrange card such as the much more powerful 260gtx, I would not even classify it as a gaming card. Gametrailers is a joke and will never give a PC game best graphics despite the overwhelming differences, thats why its awards mean nothing.

It's a rebranded 9800GTX if I remember correctly. Hardly a good card by today's standards, but alot more powerful than the console GPUs.

Battlefield 3 look much better in lighting, textures, aa etc not to mention the destruction. Uncharted 3 was not really amazing to me, Uncharted 2 did more to up the anty while 3 looks like a slight improvement. However for consoles I wouldnt be suprised if UC3 was the best looking game. However the award is best graphics, not best graphics on consoles.

Battlefield is obviously the better looking game. But the Uncharted 3 level out shined the Battlefield 3 demo. Excerpt from joystiq-

The ship's movement (and Drake's reactionary movement against the swaying ocean) isn't a canned animation. Well to give you an idea the current series of graphics cards for nVidia is the 5XX series, they are still using a 2XX series card meaning it is three generations old.
