I don't know if this has been discussed in SW, I've been gone for a few days, but on Gametrailer's Invisible Walls program (located here: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/34363.html?type=mov) they talk about impressions of games.
For those who don't care to watch, they said the following:
Killzone 2: It seems derivative. It seems to be suffering from me-too syndrome. They want to see what they come up with for multiplayer though, since that is what gives a FPS legs.
Motorstorm: Pacific Rift: They said it looked nowhere near the trailer, but it is only a 40% build, so they have to give lots of leeway. Ultimately though, it looked like more of the same.
LBP: Of course they loved any footage they wanted and are willing to have it delayed (if need be) so that it can be played like the developers want.
Banjo Kazooie 3 (or whatever it is called): They really didn't seem happy with the direction they went, adding the whole car element. From what I can remember, they didn't have a lot good to say about it.
Gears of War 2: They just saw the full level from the gameplay reveal, but they said it wasn't that exciting since they already saw the level in said reveal. It did look good though.
Left 4 Dead: Even though there were a bunch of technical issues with what they saw, they didn't care because it just looked so fun. They seem really hyped by it.
They go over more games, but those are the big ones. I left my personal opinion out of the above writing, but feel free to comment on whether you agree or disagree. Again, sorry for posting if this has been discussed, I know the video is a couple of days old.
