okay I have a decent Pc and a decent video card, I may not max all the games out, but they all run well. Then I discovered Steam and for the average not rich gamer this service is like godsend.

I bought the 360 for the exclusive games and Fifa. I've never liked Gears of War and my favorite exclusives have been Dead Rising, Alan Wake, Fable 2, Forza 3 and Halo 3.

Yesterday I find out that Fifa 2011 ( the next gen one ) will be available for Pc, too and like one month ago I hear about Fable 3 coming to the Pc.

Considering that I always choose the Pc as my primary gaming platform ( hence if a game is available for Pc, I buy the pc version ) and that I only have one exclusive game to look forward to - Halo Reach - I have been wondering if it's really worth it to keep my console.

I never game online, maybe if it was free I would, but not so much I believe.

So, I thought you guys could give me some reasons why I should keep it or why I should get rid of it and get something else.. or nothing at all!

Keep the 360 for kinect and try to pretend you are an arm flailing tube man for the lulz. But really I don't see a reason to honestly, you even said you don't play online.

There are lots of reason to keep the 360. Halo Reach, Gears 3, that new Crytek 360 exclusive Kingdoms, XBLA games.

It's a new game being made at Crytek as a console exclusive for the 360.http://e3.gamespot.com/video/6265471/

I don't know if it's going to be on the PC too.

Sell the 360. That's what I decided to do after the FIFA 11 announcement.

If you don't game online, and you're not into any of the non-pc games coming out for it, and you don't use it to watch netflix, then there really isn't any reason to keep it. That's the problem with PC gaming: it makes all other forms of gaming seem inferior.

I don't like fps's much, except for Halo, I find it quite enjoyable and fun. I like soccer games, action-adventure games, wrpg's like Mass Effect and platformers, which are the reason why I thought about getting a Wii sooner or later, but then again selling a 360 to get a Wii would feel like downgrading somehow.

Personally i'd never sell a gaming system as you never get your money back and you miss out on its exclusives, but if you're in need of cash and dont mind missing the future 360 games, then yeah sell it.

Well, keep in mind that gaming on the Wii is a totally different experience than gaming on PC, so some might say that it makes more sense to go PC and Wii than PC and 360 or PS3. Personally, I've got a PC, a 360 and a Wii to keep all my bases covered, heh.

pc is giving me a hard time of picking out games for console (except wii) i sold my xbox 360 and now im kind of having a hard time with the ps3, since i can get some of the games for cheaper on pc. i refuse to even pay 60 dollars for ps3 games, so right about now my ps3 is collecting major dust. i was actually thinking about selling that too.

Where are you from? If your from Europe I highly reccomend checking out sites like dvd.co.uk and www.thehut.com you can get games brand new for 40 euros, and tons of great promotions.

Keep it, selling a console always gives a feeling of Buyer's remorse later, and you don't even get that money for the trade-in anyway...

Also, remember, MS only release information for their games a year before release, unlike Sony, who's games we know about up to 5 years before release date..

There will be games.

the 360 offers more than Pc when it comes to the genres you like. 360/PS3 + WII = WIN

edit: you won't be able to play Red Dead Redemption on Pc.

Personally, i keep it because fully replaces my PC, which i cant bring in the living room and dont want to since i work on it

Also for exlusives like Alan Wake, Project Kingdosm, Lost Odyssey, Kameo, Banjo 3, Kinect titles, Sega new game, Remedy new game, Blue Dragon, Gears 2-3, Magna Carta 2, Milo, Halo Wars, Limbo, Dust Elysin Tale, Too Human 2

And of course for alltheupcoming PC/360 (Mass effect 3, Grey Matter, Kingdom Uder Fire 2 etc)and PC/36/PS3 (Rage, Crysis 2, RDR, Bayonetta etc)titles, that i will buy on 360, for ease of use, best multipltform graphics and play in my huge living room TV with a pad i prefer

I never play online either, just dont need PC gaming at all, since i have a 360 in the living room

Now, if you have your PC in the living room and can do without all the above exclusives released and upcoming, sell the 360

Also i cant wait to play with Kinect, while i have zero interest in Move or Wii new mote plug in

Never look back 8)

I'm not saying there's not a great variety of games on the 360, but having my PC around I don't even find time for other systems. Like you said Steam is a godsend.

If you do get rid of it I'd suggest not replacing it with something else. If you're like me your Steam list is going to be jam packed constantly. I've got roughly 70-80 games right now that I probably spent roughly $250-$300 total on! I had to really REALLY resist the temptation when that recent sale happened because I still need to beat around half of those games, and in a few months the holiday sales will start happening again :P

I'd probably hold on till Reach comes because I'm sure if you're like most people looking forward to the game you've played the other four Halo games, and it'd do you some good to finish the entire series of Bungie Halo games, but after that make the switch.

If you in need of money sell the 360. If you have a PC it can perform better than consoles especially when playing multiplats. Plus there are tons of exclusives on the PC.

I am a PC gamer and to me the PS3 is the only console worth buying. It widens my game selection the most. PC and 360 share way too many games for it to be worth owning a 360 to me. PS3 has all kinds of exclusives you can't get on PC.

That's my biggest problem! It doesn't help that my friend bought me Puzzle Kingdoms, and my brother bought me Alien Breed: Impact :D Guess they just love me.

Someday they shall be completed! I did just complete Crayon Physics Deluxe today, so go me!Now to keep working on Beyond Good and Evil

well if you have a gaming pc, i wouldn't have gotten a 360 in the first place. but it's never a good idea to sell a console. you never know when an amazing game will come out for it.. then you'd just be sitting there wishing you hadn't sold it

You really use the PC in the living room ?
