So many books, TV movies, silver-screen movies, and other mediums, along with being able to tell great stories, have holiday classics that can be called upon each year to reiterate the medium's quality.
For games, we don't really do that. Sure, we may add hats to our Team Fortresses and Uncharted multiplayers, but it's not the same as having a reliable game to call on every Christmas. I don't even celebrate Christmas as much as I just put up lights and a tree, but would still love for a game to have an engaging idea and cement itself as a Christmas classic yet is fun to play at any time.
So does anyone else agree that games should also have some great Christmas/holiday-centric stories? Also, feel free to share any Christmas games you may have played, indie-or-not.
