It would be like every game was a PS3 exclusive, which if you haven't noticed are mostly the best games this gen, taking full advantage of "teh cell".

Well if it wasn't for the success of the 360 I really doubt ps3 would be as pushed as it is being now , both in the gaming side and online service.So if you don't like the system you should at least be humble enough to recognize how good the concorrence is good for us, costumers.Don't pick their fight.

Yes and the PS3 would still be $599, that would be great! Everyone would just own a Wii because they couldn't afford the PS3 and there would be no online like we have today. That would be awesome, Casual gaming would take over completely because there wouldn't be enough PS3 owners (because of the pricepoint) to make games for just them. What a great idea you have there!

I love The Cell Broadband Engine but the first 18 months of this gen would have been utter **** without the 360.

That's just wrong. Not only is Xbox Live the best online serveice, but the competition between the 360 and PS3 is driving gaming forward.

Well if it wasn't for the success of the 360 I really doubt ps3 would be as pushed as it is being now , both in the gaming side and online service.So if you don't like the system you should at least be humble enough to recognize how good the concorrence is good for us, costumers.Don't pick their fight.

Then ya that's true. But then by those standards very few 360 games sell well either..... Dead online? I can get a game in Uncharted 2 any time of day and never see the same person twice in a day. Stop making assumptions, you have NEVER played a PS3. I on the other hand have played the 360 a lot. I know what its pros ands cons are, and compared to the PS3 I find it inferior. I have a basis for this opinion. You have nothing.

No it's not. This is the difference I'm talking about. Lemmings: Uncharted 2 has a 96 on Metacritic and sold 3.5 million They say "Games on PS3 don't sell and aren't as good as PS3 games." Cows: Uncharted 2 has a 96 on Metacritic and sold 3.5 million They say "Uncharted 2 is the best game EVER and it sold A TON." Do you speak English? Ignore and exaggerate do not have the same meaning. One means you refuse to acknowledge it, one means you acknowledge it too much.

I'm not, it's very true. Cows always find things in their favor and never shut up about them and act like it makes them win automatically, they acknowledge what's good on the 360 but act like what they have is so good it makes the other lame. Lemmings ignore those facts and only give the good things they have, they don't acknowledge what the PS3 has that's good, but they don't exaggerate as much. That's what I mean.

funny since i once owned a ps3 and was one of the biggest cows on SW. i then saw the 2010 line up of games for the 360 like mass effect 2, halo reach, splinter cell, alan wake, crackdown 2, fable 3 and said you know what? ps3 sucks. gow3 and heavy rain are good rentals. ps3 games have no reply value. theres no way in hell that i will miss mass effect 2 (best game of the gen), and halo reach (best shooter)

Show me the thread where Lems said that Uncharted 2 isn't selling well. Because I remember lems saying that it's not as good as many 360 exclusive (or mutiplats for that fact) which is very true. I don't remember a single response where 3 million was laughed at. I do remember tons of Uncharted 2 > Crysis graphics threads and Metal Gear Solid 4> Crysis Warhead and so on and so forth.

Well in the case you didn't notice and/or heard it straight from Kaz Hirai's mouth the ps3 took a totally different route from the ps2's , and it was indeed a very arrogant and prepotent one , this is coming from a sony and ps3 diehard fan.We are not talking about the ps2 here , if the ps3 had the same approach the ps2 had the 360 would be destroyed , so thank god for the 360 and how its success made sony back to themselves in the gaming department.

It also had a complete joke of an online, a barebones UI, required people to buy an accessory to play with 4 controllers and relied heavily on third party support.

Look at the PS3 - its added trophies, cross game chat, avatars, motion sensing. These things came about because of competition.
