Garry's mod +HL2 or MandB Warband?

Which one is worth my money? I lie shooters but have played the M&B demo andenjoyed it aswell. So which one? PS: If you suggest HL, Whcih HL?

All the tools used to manipulate stuff come with Gmod. You will only get Tf2 props(ragdolls, items, etc). I would recommend getting HL2 with Gmod because of the wide variety of generic stuff in HL2 such as couches and crates.

As much as I love Garry's Mod I'd have to give it to Mount and Blade. It's single and multiplayer is hella addictive.

You need almost every Valve game to have Garys Mod work properly. The game will run with any Valve game but ALL servers use textures and models from EVERY Valve game.

If you dont have X game, then textures and models from X game will result in a giant "ERROR" model. And you need to download WIRE (mod) and some other stuff. Its not as simple as buy, install and play.

Regardless, I dont think anyone wants an "error" model or purple/black tile textures, so to get the full experience, all games must be owned.

And to the TC, if you do plan on getting GMOD with all the games, I suggest you buy CSS from a retail store since it comes with DOD:S free. Buying it on Steam for the same price does not give you DOD:S.

My GMOD folder is 2.55 GB and I havent played in over a year. Theres constantly files that different servers are adding.

Hope you don't mind me asking but whats DOD?

Get those first, than save up some money and buy Warband aswell. Seriously, they are all great games.
