GDC is almost here! Who are you most excitied about?

I'm pretty neutral as far as who I'm most hyped for. I'm not expecting that much from GDC other than to get a better idea of what each system's year is going to be like.

Other:

PC Gaming Alliance. Sounds interesting if its true. I dont think this GDC mentions games much does it? I thought it was hardware for Games development?

I want at least a Cry ON trailer (we've only got concept art and a basic story outline). It sounds very good and I loved/am liking mistwalkers games.

MS has a lot to show off, if they show off nothing then 2008 for 360 isnt going to have a good year. The 360 has a lot of good games coming out for 2008 but it needs hype to sell games and showing off the same games announced 3 years ago will only do so much. I think they have a lot of games to announce and maybe some more indepth gameplay videos of games like Alan wake and Fable 2 along with too human.

Now with Sony you got MGS 4, FF, and especially LBP which will make a splash but they still need to show off some new games to keep things a little fresh. Those 3 games though are Equal to the Halo 3 of 360 so the can ride the way a bit more than MS can this year.

Nintendo, well they got Brawl coming out just days after GDC so a lot of people are concentrating on that, but I expect a Pikmin showing and maybe some more unexpected returning titles.

Overall my expectations of what will be shown.

1. Microsoft

2. Sony

3. Nintendo

Though Sony or Nintendo could be bumped up there with games announced but I dont have many expectations for announcements.

XPLAY is covering the GDC this year and now that it's in a nightly format I hope they can pry the lid off it more than the internet press did with last year's GDC where it was a lot of talk about stuff but not much shown.

I don't know what to expect really.

It would be awesome to see Gears 2 or Banjo3 though and a little Alan Wake would go a long way as well.

Two things I'm looking forward to.

The PC Gaming Alliance thing, and what Sony has to announce since I'm picking up a PS3 soon.

Sony of course...im hoping to see :

1.- new Killzone 2 gameplay vid/release date
2.- Resistance 2 debut trailer ( or a gameplay vid )
3.- confirm or deny of the rumoured new SKU with bigger HDD ( im mainly waiting for this...if its true, ill wait for my purchase, if its officially denied, ill get a PS3 ASAP :) )
4.- more LBP gameplay/info vids
5.- Haze info/vid/release date

thats mainly what im hoping to know about, anything else will be a bonus ( HOME and MGS4 release date for example )

I really wanna see some Banjo 3 gameplay, and hopefully Animal Crossing info

Don't expect much at GDC from Nintendo really, waiting for E3 for their big announcements. A Mario Kart release date would be enough at the moment.

I think MS really does have a good amount of games lined up that hasnt been shown or has barely been shown. Though it is a little hard to tell since MS has never been good at keeping secrets and so far we really havent had many leaks yet prior to GDC.
