gears 2 vs. cod:WoW

I'm actually gonna go with WaW on this one. I think Gears' cover system in multiplayer is clunky, and the lag doesn't really help when numerous weapons are one shot kill. Campaign mode wise, World at War's is much more intense than Gears 2.

I really think you HAVE to play both either way.. you shouldn't miss out on either. But for a keeper I'd say WaW, and rent Gears 2 to blast through the campaign a couple times.

It might be prudent to rent both to see which one you like more overall.

thanks man, but all my friends have gears 2 and are playing and i feel left out: (.  but i had gears1 and didnt like it at all, and loved cod4. so idk its a tough decision.

don't get gears 2 then, i really liked gears one personally so i love gears 2

Gears2 by a long shot. WWII is overdone, and gears2 is a magnificent game that u cant miss out on :D

Get both but gears2 first

Two quick reasons why you should buy Gears of War over COD WaW (at least first).

1.) Gears of War 2 is the better game. Period.

2.) COD 6 comes out next year and it's being made by Infinity Ward (which means everyone is going to jump ship from COD WaW because Infinity ward made COD 4) so the COD WaW community is unlikely to last too long.

No it's not.

They all have the same game modes, only difference is gameplay.

Ans ones a Third person tactical shooter so yeah ...
