Gears 3 GOTY Contender

I really believe it is a legitimate contender for GOTY.....Epic really went all out..Cliffy Said that the campaign is the biggest campaign that epic ever did...Horde 2.0 is just amazing..and the multiplayer is solid with Dedicated servers.....Graphics we all know is above average and this is the last in the trilogy so you know the story is going to be good...I just dont see anything holding this game back.

No, not even close. However, GOTY means absolutely nothing to me. I enjoyed the beta and if the sawed-off gets fixed, I'll finally have a reason to turn my 360 on .....

Gears looks amazing though.

pure shooters are out of the loop nowadays ... If a shooter is gonna win then it has to be some of kind of shooter and action adventure/RPG hybrid to compete for GOTY.

so I don't think Gears can pull it off.

I think it looks good. It will definitely be in the same discussion with Uncharted, Skyrim, and Dark Souls

multi: likely Gears, but won't really know till we can compare betas later this month.

But it has some stiff competition, especially with Skyrim

I just can't see it winning. Idon't know why. The beta was fun, and fun it only was. It wasn't amazing as playing Gears 1 for the first time, and the campaign looked meh (Going by the new E3 demo). The only games I see winning GOTY now are Portal 2, LBP2, UC3, Skyrim, Rage, and BF3. I'm missing a game, can someone remind me.(No it isn't Witcher 2 or MW3.)
