Gears 2 is certainly not gears 1.5. Also my friend there are very few game sequels that do not follow the trend you said in your last sentance

If Gears of War 3 is made that soon, it would be a crappy game. Lets hope it doesn't come out that soon, who the hell makes sequels back to back. If they do then Epic is either money hungry or very confident they can make a decent game in a year.

i think Grand Theft auto is the only one that makes true sequels. we all already know that the next GTA is gonna be bigger and better

i think Grand Theft auto is the only one that makes true sequels. we all already know that the next GTA is gonna be bigger and better
New city without new guns and a different story. I don't see what's making that different from gears 2 at all ....

Thats a movie buddy movies only continue a story and i never said they had to change characters but look at MGS3 and MGS4 thats a sequel not halo 2 and halo 3 i played it i was like wtf this is the same thing

Do you expect a sequel to a series of games to be completely different? Gears 2 and Halo 3 both continued the story and added onto the multiplayer. What more do you want?

is resident evil 4 set in the same place as 5 NO. but yea i can't wait for tekken 5.5. if god of war 3 looks like god of war 2 but with brighter colors like gears 2 then it will be 2.5
