It seems like gears got hit with an overrated stick IMO, but whatever. I found Gears to be boring, unoriginal and not hugely impressed with it's graphics, as Crysis looks amazing. But that's just my opnion.luigigreen

Not even close sorry, Gears had be bored 1/2 through it, It was pretty but thats about it. I enjoyed Lost Planet much better. People just say gears is the best because it's the "cool" thing to do. GameCrazed85

Well thats your opinion, but from all the games ive played since the atari 2600 days, it is soo hard for me to choose a game that would be the best all time, I mean what im trying to say is GEOW was a great game, but to say greatest, that would have to mean it had amazing gameplay, which it did, and amazing story, which it didnt have at all, the game was prolly strong in every area besides the story, and without an amazing story it cant be put in that catagory. Which is what developers are afraid of the approach the new gen systems are taking because now they prolly will be focusing more on graphics then gameplay and story telling. This is why I loved mgs 3, not only because of the gameplay and all, but to also bring in an amazing storyline, it is something a gamer will never forget about a certain game, is just how deep that one game touched u with its epic story that will keep u forever searching for more games like that. 10 years from now I will still remember that game for that, just like I have for final fantasy 7 and 8 because of the story. Anyways every has der own point of view but thats my take of a great game. Till den game on. :)
