Gears of war 1 VS halo 3

I think Halo 3 is the better game overall. It was a more complete package and I liked the campaign more.

Halo campaigns are great during replays. The AI is very unique and fun each time.

Gears of War has always been the best 360 exclusive series. I thought Bungie dropped the ball with Halo this gen, it's all about the MP which I feel is not as good as many other shooters like COD or KZ.

Gears has pretty good solid campaigns and good online, Gears 3 MP is so fun I love the mode where you get to play as the locusts or whatever their names are and you attack the other players trying to survive against you. Gears is awesome! Even if the storyline is stupid.

2 years ago when i had a Xbox 360 I loved Gears of War 1, played it alot. Also played Halo 3, even got the special edition with the helmet, but my God that game sucks.

Gears Of War 1 is better then Halo 3....But Halo Reach, 2 and CE are better then every Gears Of War.

Gears boasts some very beautiful architecture("destroyed beauty")and the enemies all possess interesting designs.

I don't see how anyone could say differently. Just because the main characters look like steroid munching meatheads, everyone assumes the rest of the game is braindead and classless.

Look past all of that and you'll see the game contains some pretty fine examples of neo-gothic art.

Any Gears of War game> any Halo game.

Halo 3 multiplayer alone is better than the entire package of Gears 1 IMO. And that's saying a lot because the Gears 1 campaign was great. But that's how damn addictive the MP in Halo 3 was. A lot of good times and memories. It was so damn good!! Did I mention it was addictive?

I honestly don't see how people prefer reach over Halo 3. Halo 3 was a tough act to follow and Reach while good was disappointing. The fun just wasn't there like in Halo 3 especially in BTB games.
