Piracy has been effecting PS3 since launch? That's the first I've heard of a pirating problem with PS3 games but I guess anything is possible in today's world.

Welp, all I know is I will continue to support my hobby and buy my games. I buy used here and there, but only if it's a really good deal or if it's really old and I cant find it anywhere else.

Then why do lems and cows use piracy against the PC?You know the reason ubi and all these others make rediculous statements about PC piracy and none of console piracy? Because one is in the spotlight and the other isn't i.e console piracy. So now it's going to get some attention and maybe publishers and devs would stop making silly statements and learn piracy occurs everywhere.

Wait you are talking about numbers of pirates? I'm talking about number of games... 100% of games on both platforms are pirated. It still boils do to the fact games on both platforms are pirated so lems have no place using piracy against the PC.

This may sound like a weird idea but I saw what someone else said about RRoD being to prevent piracy (completel load of BS) where he said people wouldn't want to mod consoles in case they RRoD'd and they couldn't get a new one on warranty. Maybe more people are starting to mod their consoles now though because they are out of warranty, and if it breaks from RRoD you've gotta get a new one, so might as well mod it (not my attitude, but some people will feel that way I'm sure)

I personally like slicing the plastic off a new game box and cracking that security seal, plus I have patience so I can wait to play it. I guess some people just want to be able to say they played it before everybody else.
