Lemmings are psyched about GeOW 2. Sure, I want to play it too. Lemmings, are you sure this game will release in November 2008? I have doubts because Epic likes to delay games. "ButEpic said it would release in November, Avid." Yeah, devs always stick to their word. :roll: Anyway, many lemmings have also said that GeOW 2 will be a longerexperience this time around because the GeOW graphic engine is in place and developers won't have to spend as much time this time around. Oh really? So, this automatically guarantees a longer game then...:|
I played the first Gears of War. I plan on steering extremely clear of the second. Sitting through that god awful story was like being given an intellectual enema.
its a fun game, like someone mentioned it'll be like the halo series with some new stuff, but it wont be longer than 8 hours and no it wont be released in 08 it'll be horrible if it is

gears of story was notthat great, but the gameplay is fun. also i do hope its longer this time around. beating the game in 6hurs was only thing i didnt like, besides host advantage for MP play.
I expect it to be to me what GeOW was. Love it at first and hate it 2 weeked later. I dont even own a xbox and i will still beat this game on coop on a amigos 360. Also i really hope its delayed because epic just finished up gears, i dont expect a quality game to be made in a year.

Same here, I try explaining it to all my friends...but none understand why...... who knows, maybe the 2nd will attract my 60 or (gasp!) 70$ here. For me, number 2 is a rental if played at all :)
As far as I know the game is not officially confirmed and is just a rumour. I reckon the game is more likely to come out early 09 then this year. Microsoft tends to hype games a whole year before it comes out and it will probably be unvieled at E3 08 for early 09 release.

There is no way this game is coming out in 2008. There would be a teaser for this game already. It is the other game on xbox 360. The biggest game besides halo 3, why would they just give it 4 months of advertisement. They'll give it the halo treatment with e3 07 where it is going to be annoucned to a september or so date in 2009.
If this game actually is released in november i lose a bet. There is no way a game which is according to cliffy B 'Bigger, Better and more Badass' will be released less than 2 years after gears 1 came out. Its just not possible all it will be is 'Slighty bigger, more of the same with a few new things and badass' but that doesnt sound as good as how cliffy describes it:P

I don't remember hearing a confirmation on 4 player co op
The funny thing is that the first games single player was short yet I spent over 20 hours in it... go figure... even with a six hour single player campaign, i would expect to spend atleast another 20 hours in it... Replay value is amazing.

But the gameplay was really quite fun. No variation but still more then solid.
