Gears of war 3 vs Killzone 3 ( battle of the 3's) who will win 2011!

Sorry no poll just made one today, anyways. who do you think will take 2011. yes there both different games, but still they compete, who will make more hype, who will earn more awards, reviews, who will sell more platforms and etc etc etc

however i can tell you who will win the graphics battle (eg. KZ3 8))

I don't really like either title.

if I ever buy Gears 3, I'll wait until it's $30 or less.

EDIT: My mistake, I compared Gears 3 to Uncharted 3 :P. As for Killzone 3 VS Gears 3, It's too close. Even with the great success Guerrilla Games had with Killzone 2, they want to reverse the criticism fans had with it. Like I said, its really close. I feel Guerrilla Games has more drive to make a full blown sequel. They are competing with Naughty Dog after all.

I don't care who wins lol. I'm getting both :P. Both will be great games. In one I get to chainsaw locusts in pieces, and in the other, I get the most satisfyingly violent death animations I've ever seen. It's a win-win!

Please oh please, let Kingdom Hearts 3 be more like Kingdom Hearts 1, story-wise, character-wise, and character-design-wise. In Kingdom Hearts 2, it seemed as though they continued the story by revolving it around recycled character models with new names and textures, but the faces remained the same (ie. Sora / Roxas). It was awful. I put more than 230 hours into KH1, and only about 10 into KH2. However, for some reason, I'm really looking forward to 3.

On topic, I'm certain Gears will sell more than KZ simply because of the masses and fanbase. KZ2 wasn't able to even draw in the same fanbase as GoeW2, so I don't see how KZ3, with the fairly consistant increase in console sales on both sides, has any chance of outselling one of (if not the most) demanded Xbox game. They're both heavy hitters that are striving for breathtaking action, so maybe we'll get some surprises from each as we approach E3.

No idea, we shall have to wait and see.

I know I'm going to get Gears 3 limited edition day 1. I'm only going to get Killzone 3 if it controls similar to MAG.

Anyways in terms of my enjoy meant Resistance 3>Gears3>Killzone3

As far as genres go , they are very different IMO (tps and fps).So both deserve a place in my shelf , now as far as SW goes it is a tough one , probably GeOW will sell better cause it's on the 360 but kz is unique for me , unless A LOT is changed in their formula I see myself enjoying killzone more. :D

Going by past games, Gears3 will be better.

Sales? Gears of War 3.

Graphics? Killzone 3.

Overall better? Don't know, don't care, don't need.
