Well im not really into Multiplayer so i would make the choice from an Art perspective. You see the thing with Gears is its a FPS control in third person,so the character lack life to them and move like thier brain is wired into restricted motion. Uncharted on the other hand feels more human like with movements, the transition from jump to run to vault to cover to punch to shoot among many other things make it more believable.

I never talked about multi-player. I'm just referring to the cover system generally, not animations; graphics etc. Which is superior game play wise?Well im not really into Multiplayer so i would make the choice from an Art perspective. gears is more refined, Uncharted is more realistic. Take your pickIronbashIt's a video game, Uncharted nor Gears is realistic in general.
Dude...how many alts are you going to make, you've been through 3 already :-/ Gears 3 isn't going to be that good....
I thought UCs cover was inspired by Killswitch?Gears of War ofcourse + Uncharted cover system (in fact a lot of stuff in Uncharted) was inspired by GeOW

[QUOTE="Harisemo"]I thought UCs cover was inspired by Killswitch? Joke? Dude practically every third person shooter this gen has the duck and cover system... Killswitch might have started it, but Gears perfected it.Gears of War ofcourse + Uncharted cover system (in fact a lot of stuff in Uncharted) was inspired by GeOW

Another one of these threads!

Surprised? It's only going to get worse as time goes on, and especially bad when Gears releases.
I haven't played the UC3 Beta, but I have played UC2. Based on that, the gameplay in Gears of War 2+3 (Gears 3 beta) felt tighter.

Um... They are virtually identical. Run to cover, duck behind cover, pop out and shoot.
Meanwhile, Vanquish has a general strategy like this: Slide around, shift into slow mo, take out numerous robots, get into cover for your power meter to recharge, repeat.
