I saw Die hard tonight and gears of war was in the movie 2 different times.
I seriously pointed and yelled, "GEARS OF WAR!!!"
naturally there was a few 360's as well.
Anyone else see? And how do you feel about video game product placement in movies?

I work in a movie theater so of course i saw it. I felt sorry for the poor 360, you know.. cause it 'sploded.. oh and the guy playing it too... tragic.
I seriously pointed and yelled, "GEARS OF WAR!!!"

Yeah, I saw it. So? It's cool and all, but that kind of product placement is in Movies all the time. I'm glad it was a newer game though.
As far as you YELLING in the movie theatre, Be glad I wasn't in that theatre with you, I've thrown Icee's on people that shout in movies...not to mention brawls in the parking lots.

Yeah, it's completely rude to do that. You know all the gamers in the threatre noticed it, yet HE was that Guy that screams in the movie.
Scary Movie made fun of people like that in the theatre scene.
I saw the movie with some friends, and we had a nice casual conversation about it hours after the movie...no need to RUIN the experience for everyone just because I NOTICED SOMETHING.
How many products are in movies? TONS.
How would he like it if every 3 minutes someone screamed at the movie screen when they noticed something that pertains to their LIFE...not just gaming placements. PEPSI STOCKERS, SONY WEGA OWNERS, JAG and BMW drivers....it's RUDE to scream in theaters.

No I haven't but who knows my time may be coming, but this is the internet so there is no proof. What we do know for SURE is that it's RUDE to scream in theatres. Every one gets theres one day, so keep it up if you want to get KARMA angry.

Casino Royale had much more slick ways of product placements.NobuoMusicMaker
True, Sony products aplenty!
I said "TimeSplitters!" during Shawn of the Dead. (was on DVD, wouldn't do that in a theatre)Harbadakus:lol:

Amazing.
i would say, surprisingly awesome.i didnt have high expectations for it, and it is still pretty cheesy, but it delivered and is my personal fav.
I had very high expectations for it. And by God did it deliver.
Bruce Willis..my action hero (together with Sly Stallone) since the first Die Hard.

LOL wow is it that serious? I believe that throwing an icee on someone is a lil more rude. Its not even that big of a deal man lol.
I saw Live Free or Die Hard over the weekend too, and I also liked it. I was worried when I first heard it was rated PG-13 (all 3 previous movies are R) but they didn't Eff it up. You could tell at parts that the dialogue was dubbed over with something a little less harsh than there should have been, but I'm hoping the DVD release will be uncut and full of the famous Die Hard dialogue.
Now, the action sequences were top notch and worthy of the Die Hard name. A great action movie through and through. I'd say Die Hard and Die Hard With a Vengeance were better than this one, but Live Free was better than Die Hard 2.
The Gears placement was cool.

Yeah it was pretty good, it could have been more "hardcore" if it had the R rating and took advantage of it, but overall it was worth it. It is my least favorite of the films, but it is still a good movie.I saw Live Free or Die Hard over the weekend too, and I also liked it.
