i agree with the TC and i am more hermit though have a ps3 and 360 with gears. But gears MP=ZZZZ for me. CS:S is much more fun, more competitive and still has great graphics in my opinion. I like gears for single player and co-op and it is beautiful. I actually am not sure how much better crysis will look. Physics it will blow gears out of the water. But the 360 is a powerful system that has not been fully tapped yet. Crysis will run on high dx9 settings with current systems and 360 has a lot of growth left.

it may have more detail than most games, but through the hole game its just recycled graphics and its so drab to look at, it could of done with a bit more color. no wonder markus phoenix sounds like eeyore off winnie the poo..

GameSpot seems to disagree; "You'll see hordes of goblins come swarming over a hill in your direction, and it's initially impressive, but when the hordes grow too large, the game does slow down quite a bit. While it gets sheer numbers right, the game uses an ugly blur effect on far-away enemies that looks less like a distance blur and more like you're seeing double. Plus, as you might expect, the hordes of enemies all look alike. You'll encounter a handful of different enemies as you play, but there isn't enough variety." Also, I don't remember N3 being 10,000 characters at once, and certainly not as detailed or randomised as M2TW.

it looks great, it looks beter than crysis, but he is using swiss pro wich is an add-on, i love flight simualtor but i was disapointed with FSX we'll see wen it gets DX10 patched

Currently, that may be true. But then again, it's the first game released with the U3 engine (as far as I'm aware) - it will be surpassed before the end of the year.

Agreed, a big multi-thousand siege battle with everything on max is one of the best things I have ever seen.
hermits are just jealous that consoles have finally got one over on PC's. Now they have nothing to boast about, for now anyway. Crysis isn't out yet so theres no point in mentioning that, and remember gears is just a first gen game, 360 graphics will get better.

Same as the beginning of every generation. Something on consoles looks better, torch passes back to PC, remains there until the beginning of the next generation. Rinse and repeat. Yes, the 360's graphics will get better, but it's handicapped by it's current hardware, which cannot get any better. It also cannot rely on a larger HDD and RAM to take pressure off it's GPU and CPU like the PC can. PC gaming also has dynamic hardware, which can constantly scale along with the hardware. Remember, Crysis is only a first gen Dx10 game, graphics will get better.

your last statement is pretty scary. Crysis already looks miles better than anything being released in 2007, that's including other pc games.

DAMAGE CONTROL, an xbox 360 game looks better than your PC sorry man except that Kameo has -20 times less units on screen than maxium M2tW -they are all the same models, while even in one squad of M2TW units there are at least 6-10 separate models -the enviorements graphics in Kameo mass scenes looks nowhere near as good as the ones in the rest of the game.
