They are very diffrent and they are not even in the same generation ask instead Gears of War or Halo 2 which on did you enjoy more? Or God of War or Ninja Gaiden?
Two TOTALLY different types of games but i enjoyed both. GoW was an epic game and i enjoyed the story, and GeOW was an awesome experience in co-op and multiplayer
If Gears didn't have the multiplayer game, it would be God of War. But as it does, I'd say Gears...just.Raidea
This is how I feel. I'm super hyped for GOW2 because the first one was just an amazing SP experience. . .even if the last battle was kind of cheesy. Where Gears shines though is in it's longevity due to MP. It's simply fun to get on live with a friend and a headset and play through the game Co-Op style. I haven't had that much fun with Co-Op since Halo:CE. It wasn't a matter of we'd already beat it, it's just fun as heck to play a game with your friend no matter where they are. All in all, I think they're both the best games in their respective Genre's and you can't go wrong with either.

Gears is a TPS, and Halo 2 is a FPS. lol They don't really match up well at all .
