Maybe that's cuz the 360 was released a year earlier and you are comparing titles that came out a year after 360's release to titles that came out from launch to no more than 4 months from the launch of the PS3? Just a thought.

Right now, the PS3 has 2.13 million sold. Its selling faster in the US and in Japan than the 360 did when it was launched. The only reason why its not selling faster overall is because the 360 also launched in Europe which gave it over a million more consoles. http://www.vgcharts.org/aconscomps.php?name1=PS3&name2=X360&type=0&align=0 PS3 in 3 months sold a little more than 100,000 more consoles in the US than the 360 did in 3 months in the US

I think wow may have outsold the 360. I know its close because doesnt it have something like 8.5 or 9 million subscribers and not everone who bought the game still subscribes. o well I still dont like MMO's

First of all the 360 had been out for a year by the time gears came out. So it has had a long time to build up a fan base. Second, the PS3 has only been out in a few countries for only about 5 months. Also guess how long I played gears of war before I got bored??? After threee weeks I didnt touch it. Theres no depth in th game. Yes insane and hard mode are rediculous but it didnt really give me anymore of excitement. Just more waiting behind objects and more waiting for my health to revover. The only thing that kept it alive was its story. But that ended quickly too.

is it true that PS3 has no million sellers yet? How about resistance? Wii has some already. Wii sport over 5million (I know it comes with the system but not for japan. It sold 1.29 million there alone). Wii play sold almost 2 million, Zelda sold around 3 million, Wario Ware is at 1 million already. Gears of War is a medicore game. can't wait for this console "fps craze" is over. As a PC gamer its annoying to see FPS on a console because i bought a console to get myself away from that genre.
This is impressive for a brand new franchise. Congratz to Gears 4 million in sales is no joke. It is a great game deserving of most of its praise though a bit overrated.
