Gears of War's graphics are not the best on a console

Everybody is saying that Gears of War has the best graphics ever seen on a console.To be honest the game is to shiny and lacks some of the more photo realistic games such as these.

There are many others such as Heavenly Sword, Lair, Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, Alan Wake, Assasisn Creed and other games have great amount of detail to the facial animation and most of them look photo realistic in some ways.

GEoW looks pretty darn good, but I'd have to say a fully modded Oblivion on a 20"+ LCD looks the best.

Those games are not out yet, so yes - Gears is the best looking game out now. 

Does it mean it will always be? No of course not, but it still is as of right now.

MGS4, already downgraded and looks crap, DMC4 does not look very good at all
and when will PS3 fankids learn not to hype graphics of games not released yet, so far every one has been downgraded once it was released.

2 points:

1. None of those games are out yet.

2. Is that footage really ingame?  We know what GEARS looks like for actual gameplay, those others we do not.  Hopefully they will look that good, but developers have a tendency to pull the bait and switch.
