Cause Gears set the bar for console graphics so far and has yet to be beaten. It has challengers like Mass Effect for example but has the game even been released yet now so no one has dethrowned Gears of War as of yet.

PC games don't really have limits and they cause gamers to upgrade many times throughout a console's lifespan like the PS1 and PS2 for example. Why are you even comparing PC to console if you know this already? Trying to find some way to find ownage or something? lol

Well if you wanna show up consoles do it somewhere else. Us console gamers may be "stupid" as you claim for liking consoles but we beat the PC in sales all the time and will continue to do so again and again and again...

The Total War series only on PC totally trumps anything a console can do.  Medieval Total War 2 is far more impressive than anything coming to any console.

This is not the first thread the TC has made regarding this exact game. In fact, he's made quite a few.

It's trolling. The fact is, the two games we're comparing here are vastly different. Besides, there have been plenty of RTS games without "town building" aspects. Myth, anyone?

Have you even played Gears Of War, well i have played both MTW2 and Gears and while MTW has the best graphics for a strategy game it dosent even come close to gears. This thread fails.

That's because you can't compare a strategy game to a 3rd person shooter.

You are talking about a nearly $3k PC.... I could buy 7 360's for that price....

TBH two 8800GTX cost $900 and in couple of months will go to $500-$450...when ATI comes breathing at their necks...Plus after the price drop a C2D6550 CPUwill be like $200...so you can have an uber rig for just over 1k...A monster machine...

It is going to be a while still until the 8800GTX drops to 500 for 2. PC gaming is more expensive, but that is not a bad thing. I like that you can pick and choose your parts. You can build it over time. People who knock on either camp are ignorant in my eyes, as both offer great games.
