GeOW2 - we get it all ready.

Okay, I am just wondering why so many people have to make so many posts on the same thing. Theres atleast 5 topics with GeOW2 on them, and i don't understand why. IT IS NOT EVEN CONFIRMED YET. Sure it may be a given, but theres no need for 5 topics including the same thing. yeah sure, IF it comes out, il buy it. Now im not trying to act like a cow, i have all the consoles and all but im just saying theres no need for it.

Also, i seriosly doubt it will be better than MGS4, as stated in one topic.-HalleR-

Metal Gear and Gears of War are 2 totally different games,

how would you even start to compare the two?

I sure hope not sales, cuz Gears will blow out any game in '08

Look at what I made in bold in your post. It was ANNOUNCED! Gears of War 2 isn't.. it could easily be released in 2009 and battle with God of War 3 and Infamous. Then what are the lemmings going to hype for 08???

Well, the first Gears was easily one of the best games this gen (not to mention one of the best looking), and the second one looks to improve on the first. So I think it's fairly easy to understand why people are excited. And it's stupid to compare it to MGS4, because the two games share nothing in common, so it stands to reason that if both are very well made, neither will be particularly better than the other.

Then why aren't those games being hyped instead of some unannounced game? Because Lemmings know great franchises like FF13, GT5 and MGS4 simply blow that list to pieces..

I dont know why that surprised me but seeing it and realizing it kinda hit me weird for some reason. Gears 2 will likely outsell MGS4, huh... just interesting... just throwing that out there lol

Not necessarily. Metal Gear has never been a dominant franchise in terms of sales, while the first Gears sold extremely well for an unknown franchise. The second one could reach Halo-sized hype/sales.

Number 2, so you are saying ninja gaiden, fable, anything by a creator of final fantasy, an rpg about norse gods with a matrixy ****plot, and a halo rts are all going to be bad? What kind of games do you like? Cuz you just kinda bashed on every genre there is...
