I find the fact that the Ghostbusters game was bad on the PS3 ironic seeing as the Ghostbusters movie franchise is owned by Sony Pictures.
Someone said that?ah the ghostbusters game, which was once suppose to be a ps3 only game coz 360 couldnt handle it

[QUOTE="Couth_"]Wait, Were people expecting a patch to add pixels? :?navyguy21apparently, some did :P some people act like patches can add things like better lighting, shadows, textures, among other things..........like the case with Fallout 3 :P They could conceivably add those things. Well, maybe not on the 360, which has a patch size limit. But a lot of PS3 patches are huge, so they're obviously changing huge chunks of game code.

uhh... you can make a patch that increases performance which would allow the ps3 to output the game at 720p native. The only reason it's not at 720p native is obviously performance problems because of ****y dev's.

So seriously think you can patch in more pixels?? Seriously dude??Resolution is something changeable. Play a pc game. When I purchased Saints row 2 for example the game didn't have 1920 x 1080 as an option. It only displayed 1600 x 1200. A week later they released a patch which gave me the option of running it at 1920 x 1080. This ends now, because I seriously do not feel like embarrassing you, but I'm sure you will do that on your own...
More pIXELSSSS!!!!? No way not possible!!!!

Consoles are not PCs. Consoles are a fixed platform. PCs are built to be scalable because the hardware differs, not so with consoles.Dude if they want to change the resolution of the game to 720 native that would be no problem. They could do that within 10 minutes and release it on psn for the update. the problem is the frame rate. They did a **** job coding it for the ps3. So what happens is that if they increase the res to 1280 x 720 there would be a massive frame rate drop. Doesn't matter if it's consoles or pc. Console games are scalable just like pc games. The devs have all the tools to scale them. The problem is would they work at a decent frame rate with extra settings turned on. If you don't understand then this conversation is done, because you obviously have no idea on what you're talking about.

Dude, im not doubting that this is the devs fault. Im not doubting that native resolution cant be adjusted. What i AM saying is that native resolution cannot be adjusted via a patch. UPCSALING resolution can be, but not native resolution. Everything about the game would have to be changed, it cant be done in 10 minutes. Changing the rendering resolution has a snowball effect on everything else since consoles are limited by hardware/RAM. Its apparent that YOU know nothing about software development.[QUOTE="bigblunt537"][QUOTE="navyguy21"] Consoles are not PCs. Consoles are a fixed platform. Yes, im in the Navy, and i love it :P Its really up to you what you wanna do, the Navy does pay for most of your college. It used to be 100%, but Bush screwed that up lol. I think its 75% though. It depends on how far you are in college. If you have a year left, id say finish. if you have longer, i would say join so you can get paid well while you go to school :) Thats what im doing :D[QUOTE="bigblunt537"][QUOTE="navyguy21"] Dude, im not doubting that this is the devs fault. I have played and beat this game on the PS3, and I can gaurantee anyone that I had just as much fun if not more than anyone playing on a different platform. The resolution doesn't make or break a game, try again. have a nice day.

Question : Can you provide factual evidence stating that the newest hardware iteration of the Xbox 360 ahs failure rates abve and beyond that of the normal accepted failire rate of electronics?

Reminds me of Naughty Dog's comment, "Uncharted 2 could never be done on the XBox 360." LOL!! Yeah.. right. 1st Party dev are puppets to their owners. If RROD really is fixed why the 3 year warrenty stillMasteRich
Nobody has ever said that the RROD is fixed. :|
That is true. The XBOX Ghostbusters version is better and it can play at 1080i and 1080p.:P[QUOTE="failureson3"]the game definitely has slightly better textures on xbox360. look at the steel wire on the ghostbuster's backpack crap. lolPanosola
u do know there is a difference between upconverting to 1080p and actually being made in 1080p
because its rare to have a game that actually is 1080p
some people think that halo3 and cod 4 run at 1080p which is not true
