Ok, I just got AC for my 360 the other day (full price retail $59.99 + tax) and now I see that Best Buy has the PS3 version of AC for $37.99 (plus I have another $10 coupon there) bringing my total to $27.99 + tax. The only catch is that it's the PS3 version. From what I see the game looks basically the same on both system. I'm more worried about framerate and/or crashing issues. I heard the new patch for AC on PS3 fixed the crashing. But does anybody on here have hands-on experience with both versions?
Even though I am generally a lemming, I'd have to say the PS3 version if you can get it that cheap. I'd say the minor framerate issues (if they exist; I have no experience with either version) are a small price to pay for a 50% off game.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinkin..... I've seen so many differing video comparsions though (some done by regular users and then some done by other websites) that paint different pictures.
360 version is more stable and has a smoother frame rate. you wonder why they are discounting the ps3 version, well you get what you pay for.JohnGerstmann

That video doesnt do the PS3 justice, the colors are a lot more vibrant in person, the controller is better for PS3 and has a slightly better framerate (gs says so)
I've seen a friend of mine playing the 360 version, and the PS3 version looks the SAME as the 360 version and runs about the same as well. The crashing issues weren't that big of a deal (I never once had them) and they released a patch that fixes those if you had them anyway.
Both versions are identical. I own both and have done my own comparisons. The only thing different is that your either controlling Altair with the 360 controller or PS3 controller.
